For You And Me…A Poem.

FOR YOU AND ME

The sun is climbing over the hill,

And all of nature is so still,

Yet birds are singing from bush and tree,

Singing always for you and me.

Now as I sit beside this calm lake,

It’s nice to watch things come awake.

A gull flies past so effortlessly,

Such beauty there for you and me.

A loon is swimming right over there,

It’s mournful call flows through the air.

There, a mighty eagle now I see,

Such majesty for you and me.

Upon the water the sun does shine,

How do people complain and whine?

Why not take the time to stop and see,

The wonders there, for you and me.

Feeling much better than before, thanks.😃 The sun has come out again after a cloudy and cold morning.🌞Busy day today so I’m not getting much accomplished. Okay, that doesn’t make much sense, but it’s true!😂I’m getting a lot done, but not the way I had planned!😂😂

      • I hope so, but I don’t know, getting way behind now. Sigh. Nice out now, but no time to enjoy it, maybe later though. Yes, I don’t want to overdo it for sure, not now!😁🌞

      • Good morning Huguette! Yes, panic mode came but I got everything done. I’m not usually like that, I hate waiting until the last minute to get things done, normally I’m early. Just been one of those weeks. Hurting my back did slow me down for a couple days though which put me behind. Oh well, it happens. Riding horses yet,🐎 always learning something new about you! Enjoy your day Huguette!😃🌞😺

      • Oh well it was an accident and don’t stress about it, things got delayed a bit when we face such an incident
        The matter is you’re improving and it wasn’t worse 😊👍
        I love horses! I just stepped and rode horse, without prior instructions, Nobody actually believed haha

    • I’m odd. Strange. But fun! Really fun! Thank you for such kind words for my poem though, that is very encouraging. I used to write poems a lot, but everyone kept telling me they were no good, so I stopped. Then last year I decided to try again but was a little nervous about posting them. But, here they are, and more to come hopefully. I like to write really crazy type poems too, might share more of those, like the one “Muffin” wrote!😁🌞😸

    • I’m a carpenter, I refinish furniture, gardener, baker, maybe a few other things. Worked with kids in summer camps. Teacher. You know, this and that.😂😁🌞

      • No baking today, but I’m going to bake some blueberry muffins this week. They are so good! AAAAA!!!! no way, there are too many GOOD baking blogs now, I’m not that good, just normal. Well, my baking is normal, sometimes I’m not sure about me.😂😂😹

      • Baking is just kind of a hobby, not something serious. I started baking when I was 12 and loved it. Besides, there was so many things, like different cookies, that I wanted to learn to bake, and I’m glad I did. But I wish I had listened to my mom and learned how to cook as well!!😂😁
