For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Monday…A Poem.
MONDAY
Monday seems to make one blue,
Never knowing what to do.
Constant groaning, my oh my,
Always with a heavy sigh.
Grumble here and grumble there,
People pulling out their hair.
Time to sit and time to think,
That your attitude does stink.
Why should Monday drag us down,
Take our joy and make us frown?
Make it something worth your while,
Give everyone a smile.
Make Monday and special day,
And have something nice to say.
You are not the only one,
So lend and hand, give some fun.
Give some thought, enjoy the day,
Make it the best, all the way!

What would you say if I told you it feels like I do that for work? I would love to be a fire fighter! But I am not made of the stuff it takes for that. Those people are heroes!

I agree, I know a couple of them and their work is not exactly fun. Okay, you’re not a fire fighter but you put out fires. Were you trying to cook again?😂😂

Anything to make the hours pass. Puzzles aren’t really work though. If I could get paid for putting them together It would be a dream job!🤩

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOh, those puzzles. I used to do them all the time, but my apartment is just too small for that now. Sigh.😁😜

Yes it does require a lot of space. I have a 4 person folding table setup for just this one and it’s completely covered.

I love Monday. It is like a new beginning for me. Weekends usually cleaning days and nothing to do days so Monday makes me feel alive. Great poem Steve. 😊👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
