Sunday’s Pictures #8.

Good morning everyone on this autumn Sunday!  We are still continuing with our bird theme for this month.  Sadly most of our birds are long gone, heading south to warmer places for the winter.  Smart birds is what I say.  If we all headed south then there would be no one left in the north.  There’s probably something wrong with that statement, just not sure what it is at the moment.  Oh well.  Anyway, the first picture is a Canada goose, one of many around that day on a section of grass close to our downtown area.IMG_5937

Then we have a male and female purple finch, the male is the red one.IMG_3440

Then we have a male goldfinch enjoying his breakfast.IMG_3451

And a female goldfinch also enjoying breakfast.  Although here she was looking at me to see what I was up to.IMG_3454

And we will finish off with a spotted sandpiper down by the river earlier this month, already in winter colors, therefore no spots.IMG_7269
