Just A Few Extra.
Hi everyone! It’s another cloudy day with light snow falling. We do seem to be getting a lot of cloudy weather, actually since mid August. Just not very many sunny days during that time. But, the sun always shines, even on cloudy days. Something we need to remember when those “cloudy” times come into our lives, the sun is still there shining away. It’s up to us whether we want to see it or not. Just look around, there are always positive things for us to see each day. That’s the sunshine that comes into our lives. It can be friends, family, pets, birds singing or beautiful flowers. So time for us to look at some more of the beauty I found here this summer in some of our wildflowers.
Above we have a very pretty, though small, flower named Smooth Hedge Nettle.
The wildflower above is the Water Hemlock, very beautiful but also very poisonous.
Above we have the Spotted Joe-Pye-Weed, a beautiful wildflower that likes wet areas and grows up to 7 feet (2meters) tall.
Just a few of our slightly more odd wildflowers for this cloudy day. Thank you for joining me again today, I hope you are enjoying your weekend and God bless!

Thanks so much Simon! No, never did drugs of any kind. I stay away from such things. Muffin is the most popular! Day is starting off great, though a bit cold, only -17 here this morning and we had 6 cm of snow overnight.
