Daily Pics #13.

Good morning everyone on this mild Sunday morning in late November! 😃 Not too many winters that I can say that, though it does happen on occasion.  Sometimes even December can be a very mild month.  Sometimes.  Rarely.  But it has happened before, maybe it will happen again.  Okay, I’m dreaming.  It’s nice to dream sometimes though.  Especially when winter becomes cold.  But that’s for another post.  But mild winter weather always brings a smile along with it.🙂😺  But no matter what the weather we should wear a smile with us all day long.  A smile always brings sunshine into our lives and for those around us.  Yes, I have said it before, and probably will say it again.😁🌞Now on to some sunny pics for today…IMG_5365

And we start with a beautiful orange daylily above.  Daylilies are one of my favorite flowers, next to roses.IMG_4440

And here we have a very beautiful light pink peony.  They are huge flowers and do require a little help to stand up straight, but a very hardy flower, great for our climate.IMG_4347

I showed the above flower a few days ago, but didn’t know the name.  I finally identified it today as the blue gilia (gilia rigidula).  I added the extra name due to the fact there are other blue gilia also.  It’s a native wildflower of the southwest US and Mexico.  How it got to be up here is rather odd, and they likely won’t survive.  I got to enjoy it one season anyway.

I hope you have enjoyed these flowers today, have a Happy Sunday and God bless!

  1. Beautiful flowers! That’s cool about the blue gilia. It looks very similar to the Rocky Mountain Columbine flower (our state flower) we have here in Colorado. Very pretty! Have a blessed Sunday Steve!

    • Thanks so much Ribana! Yes, those peonies are amazing. That one is right beside my apartment. It has the largest flowers of any of the peonies around here. Happy Monday Ribana, though it’s almost over for you!😁😸⛄🌲❄
