For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Good morning all on this first day of the last month of the year! Guess what? It’s a sunny day today! And it’s supposed to warm up a bit today as well, which is good, right now it’s only -13. But -5C for a high today, so that’s not bad. But now what should I do? I’m posting nice bright flowers for all those cloudy days, now there is a sunny day and what can I post for a sunny day? Hmm, that’s quite a problem. Sort of. However, because I am basically restricted a bit right now, meaning I can’t get out much, that I decided this is a good time to continue with some bright sunny pictures of flowers. But not mine today. Today will be some nice rose pictures provided by Ciccophoto. She gave me permission to use them. So, enjoy them along with me…
Unfortunately I don’t know the names of these roses used today, but they are beautiful.
I love roses, they are my all time favorite garden flower! I used to grow roses of different kinds, including mini roses which are fantastic and can be grown indoors as well. Anyway, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! Have a wonderful Sunday and God bless!

They are beautiful. She did a fine job capturing them! Roses are gorgeous and their fragrance is heavenly! I never knew they could be grown indoors! Wow! 🙂

Yes, she got these ones very nicely. Only the mini roses work nicely indoors, though if you have a nice sun room then any rose can be grown inside. It’s a lot of work with the regular roses though, I have done it. Thanks for stopping by Renee!😃😺⛄🌲

haha the first one in Portuguese doesn’t sound good. The second could be a Hybrid Tea Rose ?

So true, both are actually tea roses, I used to grow the first one and one similar to the red one. Thanks for stopping by!😃😺⛄🌲

Roses are so nice to grow, a whole garden of different roses, sooooo nice. “floribunda” is a general name for a lot of different roses, just means they have a lot of flowers.🙂🙄
I will disagree with google though,🤨🤪🙄 I used to grow that particular rose, it’s a tea rose, so is the red one, specific names however I can’t remember. Sigh. I used to have over 20 different roses in my garden, plus 27 mini roses as well. I think there is around 40,000 different roses altogether. What a garden that would be!!😳🌹
Have a great Monday Simon!😁😸⛄🌲

That’s true, okay, we’ll cut it back to 39,999, 40,000 is too much. You plant half in your garden,🌹 I’ll plant the other half in my garden.🌹 We’ll be famous!😃🤸♂️👍 Monday has begun and it’s just starting to get daylight at 7:20 am. Hope there is less rain today for you! Maybe you could swim to work?🤔🏊♂️

This is the first day I was able to leave the house and walk to MCDs for coffee! It’s 0C outside so it’s tolerable, and it wasn’t icy. Lots of snow but not icy, thank goodness.
Your flower pictures are so lovely! 🌺

Nice weather, -7 here today and sunny which is nice, but still lots of ice around here, it will likely be that way till spring.
Actually those are Ilona’s pictures that she sent me and said I could use. I love roses and miss growing them.
Thanks so much for stopping by!😁😸⛄🌲

Enjoying your pictures! Steve, take care of yourself. Winter is trying to make a comeback in central Ohio, but it isn’t much of an effort.

Thanks so very much! It’s slow going, but there is improvement so that’s a good thing. Not much winter up here yet, maybe 2 inches of snow in places. Hillsides have no snow. So odd for the beginning of Dec. Temps are about normal though. Never get your blog in my reader anymore, but I just bookmarked you, so I can find you more easily. Have a wonderful day!😃😺⛄🌲🎄
