Daily Pics 2020…#7.
Good morning everyone! It is a bit on the cold side today, but it’s getting colder, so this isn’t so bad. Yesterday it was so nice and sunny all day, so even though it was cold it still felt nice just to see the sun shining. There was a lot of bird activity yesterday too which was also nice, so I spent time out there trying to get pics. And I did get some nice pics too. Nearly froze my hands, but I got some nice pics. Except I missed the gray jay again. That is a tough bird to get sometimes. They don’t exactly sit around and eat usually, though sometimes they will. I do have pictures of our gray jays, but I’m always looking for something new, perhaps a little different, more unique in some way. But there’s more time yet before they start nesting next month.
But for now, more bright and cheery flowers for us to look at…
Here’s the next picture of that bee we saw flying to the delphinium yesterday. It’s a nice bright and colorful group.
And here we have our wild columbine to help give us a boost of color and cheer for today.

Yes, good music, all the old hymns sung the proper way, no bands or anything else.
Very few right now. Most IB churches in Canada are small, less than 25 members. We had 50, but usually 60 to 80 in attendance. Then we lost our pastor, things dropped dramatically. We have been without a pastor for 3 years now and only 7 members left coming. But many moved away too, but others just got discouraged and stopped coming. It’s hard without a pastor and it’s not easy getting a pastor way up here in the north.

Yep, nice to have relaxing days. Unless they get to be too many. Mostly I like to keep busy so these last 3 months were a bit of a challenge at times. But not so much to take the smile away.😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

Never let a day go by without reading and praying. A sermon I heard that really helped me, was “start your day with God”. Before getting involved with other people, read and pray. Sure made a big difference for me.

Yep, I was there once you know, but in public school. You don’t need to spend an hour, try 10 minutes. Usually good things are hard in some respect, but worth it.

A date in time means nothing really. We have more time now than when I was in high school. Technology is different and it steals our time. It can be a good thing and a bad thing. Depends how we use it. That’s the key “how WE use it”, not letting IT use us.

Yep, I have noticed you get a lot of comments. I’m about to lose another of my main followers in a few days. Sigh. That puts me at 52 that have stopped blogging out of my original 80 main followers.

Well, these are only those that have stopped blogging, if they just stopped following I would be a bit concerned. I have probably lost around 120 altogether, but a lot I figured wouldn’t stay around long, they were just starting out and looking for followers. I like to keep track so I can see if it’s me or just one of those things that happens. Also, what can I do to get more participation? That sort of thing. After all, I’m not writing for me.😀😀🙄

It probably goes back to when I did bird and other animal studies, I had to keep track of info. So I enjoy it. Yeah, I know, I’m odd. I admit it. I have probably hit a certain peak now, though I may still climb in followers it has really slowed down now. But blogs that do really well talk about specific subjects, how to, DIY, health, mental health, sports, that sort of thing. Although they always talk about the same thing, it’s kind of helpful info. I talk about the same thing, but it’s more fun than helpful, which is what I want, something fun, different. I never really expected to get a lot of followers. So I have done a lot better than I thought. It’s still interesting to see what happens and why, make minor changes, like my new mystery series which seems to be quite popular.😀😀🕵️♂️🕵️♂️

EVERYBODY was scared. So let’s say there were 30 teens. There would be 30 slips of paper and we would line up against the wall with the lights on. 29 people would get a paper that said “X” and 1 lucky person would get “M” that stood for murderer.

Good. So, the game started in the dark. First 2 rounds were normal. Oh, I forgot…. so the murderer would walk around and at some point whisper in a person’s ear “you’re dead” the person that got “killed” would count to ten and then scream their loudest and fall on the floor. The lights would go on and everyone would meet at the murder scene. Now to figure out who the murderer was!
