Daily Pics 2020…#8.

Hello on this cold January morning!  Wow, this place was booming last night.  That happens when it gets very cold.  That wood just pops, bangs and booms.  Some are very loud indeed, made both Muffin and I jump.  It was even cold inside last night, I’m glad I have warm blankets…and Muffin.  She likes that warm wool blanket I have on my bed right now.  It’s an old coverlet from the early 1900s, blue and white, so nice.  I like wool blankets.  They are warm, cozy, warm, feel so nice, warm, have a nice country look to them, and they’re warm.  Muffin totally agrees with me, she loves wool blankets too.  There was lots of bird activity again yesterday, but too cold to stand around in that wind trying to get pics.  It was one of those days that was good to stay inside and drink coffee.

Okay, these are not wildflowers either, but I couldn’t resist showing a pair of bright cheerful orange double daylilies this morning when it is so cold.IMG_3406

These are wildflowers however, the golden corydalis.  They like a nice rocky area with not much soil the best, but will grow most anywhere.
