Daily Pics 2020…#16.
Good morning everyone! It is another one of those cold mornings here. A good morning to be inside with a cup of hot coffee and looking outside. Unless you’re like me. Then looking outside isn’t so great either. Actually I don’t mind looking out from the warmth of within. And watching all the birds as they arrive at the feeders for their breakfast. Too early for that yet however, but Muffin doesn’t mind looking out a bit early while it’s still dark. Then, as it starts to get light, she suddenly has a lot of energy and wants to run. Helps her to warm up after sitting by the window I guess.
A cold morning means we need some warm flowers…
Starting with the ox-eye daisy with it’s bright white petals and warm, sunny center. It just says, warm summer days.
Then we have this beautiful lavender “arrow-leaved aster”. This is one of our more common asters in our area and a lovely late summer wildflower.

Yeah. My teacher is almost 80 and kind of strict. I’ve had her 8 years now and I was good at first, but as I got older, my interest in piano lessened and is still that way. I just never practice… not much time to. Once I graduate… I’m done with piano lessons at least.

Piano is nice, but not exactly something that is necessary. And when you’re not really interested that makes it harder. I often think I would have liked to learn, but then I think, where would I put a piano in this little apartment!😂😂🙄

It is big with 10 lovely acres of water, woods, and nature trails.

What’s a little cold. Our coldest temp here was -80F and a friend and I went out that day for a mile long walk. Nearly froze though. It was kind of crazy when I think about it.🤔🙄🤪😜

It was a little different with each I guess, but they would kind of curl up on my lap, head under my chin and arms wrapped around me, my arms around them. Now I never hear from them.

Yep, every year, but that’s only good for the 4 main types of flu expected this flu season, they are the worst types. But even a normal flu is bad for me since I really don’t have much of an immune system left. So I try to catch it quick.

When I was younger (a few years ago) I would get eczema all over my legs and arms and I would look bad. Thankfully, it has stopped and I have a normal eczema free (for the most part) body.

That’s always a good thing. We all should try to be a good example in some way to others. Some people say I smile and laugh too much, I should be serious all the time. I have a serious side (not sure which side it is though) when necessary. But being happy and smiling has been a great help to me over the years. Otherwise I would likely be sitting around grumbling and complaining. That’s no good.

We only have 2 services right now, morning starts at 10:30, evening at 5. But I have to be there half an hour earlier to unlock the place, get things set up in the morning and get the heat turned on so that it’s half warm in there.

I don’t mind doing it, actually I volunteered for it. I also organize our guest preachers coming out, take them out for meals when they come. And Sundays when they don’t come out I have DVDs of their pastor preaching, so I look after that too, setting up the projector. That’s where a problem came up yesterday. So I only have one DVD for today, my external drive quit working for burning the second one. Sigh.
