Nature’s Art…#07.

Good morning everyone!  It’s a somewhat snowy morning here today, though not quite as bad as was forecast for us.  Looks to be about 6 inches (15cm), but I haven’t been out yet to check for sure.  The birds are certainly busy at the feeders, which is always the case when getting snow like this.  Even the squirrel has decided to come around for a peanut breakfast.  And he sure is having fun running through all the snow on the branches of the trees this morning.  Doesn’t slow him down at all, even though that snow is kind of deep for such a little critter.  Muffin loves to watch him flying through the trees like he does each day.  He nearly fell once this morning though, but managed to stop himself just in time.

And now for today’s pics of art in nature…

Above we have the “gem studded puffball” mushroom.  These can be eaten, but only when the inside is pure white, then apparently it is quite delicious.  However, if there is any discoloring inside, it should not be eaten.IMG_7186

Above we have an array of roots spreading and twisting from nearby trees as they travel over and around rocks looking for nourishment.

And there we have today’s picks of pics for art in nature.  Nature’s art can be found in many forms and in many places.  We may not all like each one but that’s the way it is with art.  Still, each is fascinating in it’s own way.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend and God bless!

    • These are quite safe, but we do have some very poisonous mushrooms, they look a lot different than the puffballs though. But there are a lot of different puffballs, none are poisonous, but not all taste good.😁😸🍄🍄
