A field of wildflowers in Italy.

Good morning everyone, and Happy Friday as well!  I hope you are all doing well today.  Muffin is at the window watching the snowflakes swirling and twirling as they dance their way down to the ground.  But I will admit, I would rather not be watching snow falling when it’s just about the middle of March.  However, it is rather typical though.  The warmer weather we did have has started bringing other animals around.  Such as a skunk that likes to come up on the deck each night to see what he can find.  He/she likes peanuts too amazingly.  I think every animal must like them.  Anyway, I have named this little critter Sugar.  Muffin gets quite excited when she comes around.  I don’t.  If Sugar was to see Muffin in the window, well, it might not be pretty.  And certainly wouldn’t smell very nice either.  For a very long time.  That smell just doesn’t go away easily.  So now I try to make sure there are no leftover peanuts at night.  Sigh.

But now, for something that smells a lot nicer than a skunk…

A beautiful wild rose that produces the most wonderful scent, and it looks nice too.IMG_4626

And to go along with it, a very beautiful pink peony which also has a wonderful scent.  It’s so nice to see pics like this to remind us of warmer days ahead.  I hope you have a wonderful Friday and God bless!

  3. I’m not sure if I can say that I am doing well. It seems like everyone has lost their minds. Idk how you are managing to stay calm during this time. My school suspended classes so idk what’s happening and everyone has basically been left in the dark. Usually I would be asleep right now but I can’t sleep…. I have a lot of questions and not a lot of answers.

    • That’s going to make it hard for you to complete your course, or take longer anyway, that’s too bad. Yes, people have gone crazy now. Shopping yesterday was weird, people panic buying everything in sight. Except food. Carts stacked high with TP, tissues, even paper towels. I just wanted my normal stuff, I always buy about 2 weeks ahead and I did okay with food, but I couldn’t get any cleaning supplies, laundry detergent. People were coughing and sneezing all over the place. Lady ahead of me at the checkout was coughing constantly without covering her mouth. I don’t get paranoid about things, but really, it would have been nice if she had covered her mouth. I have never seen the store that busy except at Christmas. I was glad to get out of there, I don’t like crowds at stores, and this was early morning. I prefer calm to worry. I am in a high risk category for this virus since I don’t have much of an immune system anymore. So I have to take precautions, but worrying won’t help so I keep a smile and keep living normally. Keep in touch Hilary, always nice to hear from you! Hope you have a good day!😃😺🌞☕

    • The sun is shining now, but we’re back to cold again so the skunk decided to go back to bed for a while I guess. Good thing. Strange scent is right!😳😵🤯 Wear that scent to the store and everyone will stay out of your way for sure!😂😹 But it’s nice with the sun shining.🌞 I like it. Enjoy your evening Simon!😁😸🌙
