Nature’s Art #35.

Hello everyone!  A big oops for me, I forgot the Nature’s Art for Tuesday!  Amazing how I managed to do that.  But we are here today with another look at the beauty to be found out in nature and sometimes these things can be found in our own yards, or when we walk down the street, or in parks.  However, I am not suggesting going to parks or other public places these days.  But we can still enjoy the beauty of our natural world right here with photos.  Sometimes that is the best and safest way to do things.  Today is really a beautiful day once more, the sun was shining brightly, but now the clouds have taken over again and there are a few lazy snowflakes floating to the ground.  Not that I really want to see snowflakes right now, but it does look sort of nice anyway.  Rain would be more fun to see though, but I’m sure that will come too.

And now for our look at some interesting art in nature with our mushrooms…

Shaggy Parasol 2

Here we have a “shaggy parasol” mushroom, which I think is really quite interesting.  It is quite large, this one is 5 inches (12.5cm) across the top and they can get larger than that.  They are listed as edible, but some people can have severe reactions to this so it’s really best to leave it alone and just enjoy it’s beauty.Orange Mock Oyster 3

I think I showed this one once before without knowing what it was.  This is the “orange mock-oyster” mushroom.  It is very bright and easy to see.  When broken it has a very disagreeable odor that smells much like sulfur, and although it shouldn’t have to be said after smelling it, do not eat!  Just enjoy it’s beauty right where it is.

There is our nature’s art for today, I hope you have a wonderful day and God bless!

      • Hey Steve! Sorry, I went awol there for a bit 🙁

Things are looking brighter. Work is going great. The virus has shut down a lot of places as not everyone can do the “social distancing” in there buildings. We have been able to succeed in that at work, which has kept us operating. We are one of the essential businesses being a hardware store which supplies hospitals with gloves & masks. Plus our lumber is being used for there expansions which must be completed.

But because I work in the public I have chosen to not see my kids until this is over 😣 for their safety.

        God bless you brother!

      • Hey, not a problem! I don’t show up much on your blog either these days. Glad that you are in an essential business, I figured you would be open still, hardware places here are the same. But most everything is closed. Nothing much changes for me except shopping is a bit more challenging since I need gluten free food and stores seem to be having a problem stocking that lately, even Amazon can’t keep it in stock.
I can understand that would be a hard decision with your kids, but you’re right, it is safer for them. The sun will soon break through these clouds once again.
Hope you have a wonderful Saturday Stu, God bless!😃😺🌞☕☕

      • Wow, have fun with your writing challenge!😲😀✍ That’s a lot of writing for sure!😬 It is sunny and mild🌞 and should be 10 or higher today and the same for the next 3 days.🌞🌞🌞 There won’t be any snow left except maybe in shady areas. I am going to try my path to the river on Monday.🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️ With all the trees the snow won’t melt as fast🌳🌲 but I will check it out and see how it’s going anyway. I managed to get all my bird seed packed away safely inside so the bears won’t find any food if they come around.😳🐻 Still drinking my morning coffee,😃☕ washed clothes this morning, next is some cleaning,😳 then I will write a post,😀✍ did morning workout already too,😁 after post then another workout,🤸‍♂️ then lunch, after lunch walking time.🙂🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️ Not sure after that.😁😸🌞

      • Yes Steve, Two chapters completed already. I have a structure in my mind hope I’ll finish it up as I wanted.😜😜 No happy endings on my story for sure 😛. You did a lot of home work it seems. Take things slow. Don’t over do it. That’s good you are planning to get a wall by the river. But be safe on shady areas. Enjoy your morning coffee! Have fun with today’s schedule ✨☺️🤗✍️
