Daily Pics #100!

Good morning everyone!  I really hope you are all feeling well today.  And here we are at day 100 for the year 2020 and that means 100 days for Daily Pics this year as well.  I definitely needed to take more flower pics last summer, just wasn’t thinking about the idea of a daily pics post at the time.  And now with this virus around and parks being closed, it might be hard to get many pics this year.  Unless this virus and restrictions don’t last long.  Oh well, I’ll think of something.  Anyway, I will be making a few changes for the next little while, so I hope you will still enjoy the selection of pics each day.  Well, that new snow nearly all melted yesterday.  I’m sure the birds were happy with that.  Oddly, I didn’t see any chipmunks yesterday, guess they took one look at the new snow and decided to stay indoors.  Smart little critters.

And since this is day 100, I thought we would have a few more pics than usual.  So butterflies are the object today…

Here we have the Harris’ checkerspot sitting on a buttercup.IMG_5514

And lastly, a mourning cloak, sitting on a log.  Guess this one wasn’t hungry.  Please continue to join us tomorrow as we begin the next 100 days of Daily Pics!

Please stay safe everyone, have a wonderful day and God bless!

Steve and Muffin.

      • Just started my lunch.😁🍿🍞🥗🍉 Better not workout before bed,🤸‍♂️ it will keep you awake.😳 Instead, get some paper and pencil and start rearranging your furniture on the paper to see different arrangements.😛✍ Great way to fall asleep.😵😴

      • 🤔✍️✍️ Sounds like a plan Steve, I’m in my bed reading a boring book now. That will help me fall asleep. By the way I don’t want to fall asleep, as I fall many times in my dream and awake, I’m just going to sleep 😁

      • What?😲 You don’t like falling?😳 I usually fall into bed,😄 fall asleep,🙄 fall into dreamland,😜 but then I wake up,😳 get up,🙂 stay up😀🌞 and work up!😂😹🤸‍♂️💪

      • 🤔😁🙄 Ever had a feeling that you have been falling from somewhere and woke up in a shock? 🤔 it happens to me a lot 😳 and since last year more than falling, I am slipping in my dreams, its the same left leg, I slip and wake up🙄😂😂😂 same story for a long time😂😜.

        Liked by 1 person

      • Yep, I have had that falling feeling in my dream and wake up in a sweat!😲 Not for a long time now however, which is good, don’t like that feeling.😳😬 I slip a lot in real life so guess that’s why I never dream about it.🤔😂 But watch that leg so you don’t really slip!😳😳🤸‍♂️

      • Yup Steve, I am taking care of that. Still no stunts. Able to run a bit can’t dance 😳 🙄 I miss my dance moves and running😭. It’s okay, I should be grateful for what I have now. And I’ll have it more carefully 🤗😌

      • Hey now, no running while your wife is away.😬 If you break that foot again, who will look after you?🤔🙄 No more running, walk instead, better for you right now.🙂 Can you touch your toes while standing?🤔

        Liked by 1 person

      • 🤔 Sounds like a good question 😉 I am able to touch after a lot of struggle. I’m practicing it every 3 days in a week. I get that, don’t want to break it again for sure. Now at home till April 30. Why bother about running 😉 Just stick with my regular workout and skipping all the workouts that causes pain on my left foot. Can’t risk😌

      • Yep, a couple of the exercises I was given to do actually made my leg worse, so I stopped them and do the rest. It’s working out good now. Still haven’t made it to 1 km in walking though. I want to push it, but need to follow directions from my physiotherapist.😬😳 I don’t want to cause more problems.😳
hehe, I can’t touch my toes,😄 but there’s a reason for that. Oh well. I have added some other things to my workout that my doctor suggested.🙂 Sometimes I’m too impatient and want to move ahead faster.😬 But I have to be careful too.🙄

      • Don’t be impatient Steve, I was impatient and I’m still too, and that’s how I get hurt. It’s best that we should take time and do it steady and slow. Hard work is required, but slow and steady will keep ourselves safe! Please do follow all the therapies, next time consult them about the workout they gave Which caused pain. I’m sure you’ll recover very soon than you imagine. There’s nothing wrong on being slow, you can enjoy it 😉✨✍️

      • I did mention to him about the ones causing pain so he just said not to do them right now, maybe try them slowly later. I can’t actually go in for my physio appointments anymore, they have closed the clinic due to the coronavirus. Sigh.😕But that’s okay, just keep moving along and try not to be impatient.😂😹

      • That’s better. Keep moving. I’m sure it’s too late to reply. Good Night Steve ✨🤗💐 sweet dreams

      • You know, I completely forgot it was Good Friday today. Sigh. Being inside all the time I’m starting to lose track of days!!😂😹I’m terrible.

      • First time in our history all the church closed, we have to skip this Good Friday. Yes, even I forgot it too. Tomorrow is my wife birthday and that reminds me of this this year’s Good Friday, I had lots of plans and all plans has been broken 😭. I wish I could spend the birthday with her, which is nearly impossible till 30th 🙄. This is a bad time for all of us🙄. But it’s okay, digital technologies will help us to stay connected with our loved ones😃. So I’ll be having multiple video calls 😉 no idea of sleeping tonight 😁

      • Yes, all our churches are closed here too which is also a first for us. It is nice that we have the digital technology that we enjoy today. If this virus had happened 25 years ago we would not have that and things would be so much worse for people. We should be thankful for this technology that allows us to stay connected and actually see each other like that.🙂😄 I know it’s not as good as being with the person, but so much better than what people had 25 years ago, just a regular phone,🤪☎ no smart phones!😲 Enjoy your calls Simon, who needs to sleep?🤔😳 It’s just one night!😂😹🌙

      • Exactly Steve, it’s just one night, just forget the sleep and spend time with all loved ones🥰 if it happened 25 years ago I’ll be mourning all day. I’ll be grateful with what we have and what we don’t have now, everything is for a good reason.. hope things will get better soon ✨🤗

      • That’s right, we need to be grateful for what we have even if we have lost a lot temporarily. Our government is saying our lockdown could last another 4 or 5 months yet, a long time. I think that will be tough on people once summer arrives. Our winters are so long, people want to be outside in the summer enjoying it for a short time. I pray this goes away sooner than expected. Meantime, we can still have fun, just in a different way! Enjoy your night Simon!😀😺🌙🥳🤸‍♂️☕☕

      • Yes Canada is very strict on that part. We trying to lift the lockdown possibly next week, but government tries it till 30th. I hope the situation comes under control in Canada and at least the province that is not affected can be released out, or with mask they should give certain freedom obviously it’s summer time which is very short and people would love to get out and have fun. I wish this corona go away in a week or two so that things will get back to normal. Meanwhile let’s have some fun with what we have 🤗

      • Yes, it would be nice to have things back to normal. I don’t know if it’s a good idea to end the lockdown so soon, but you don’t have many cases of the virus in India. Hope it doesn’t turn bad if they do end the lockdown. Here they don’t expect to reach the peak until the end of May,😬 the 2 or 3 months to get it back to normal.😳 Summer is over by that time.😭 Maybe we need to have a virtual summer!😃😺🌞🌞🌴

      • That’s the sad part, losing an entire summer for a deadly virus🙄 that’s really exhausting 😳. It’s been a lovely night so far, time for bed! Good Night Steve 🥰
