The very bright and beautiful oriental poppy.

Good morning on this bright Friday!  It looks like we might be passed the real cold weather now and starting some warmer weather today.  I certainly hope it does stay with us this time anyway.  And soon the remaining snow will be gone from my path to the river.  Then we will see if I can actually make it down to the river again.  My walking ability is certainly not what it was last year, but hopefully with a little time I will be back to my regular walking along that path.  I’m also hoping the bears will not be active over there this spring.  That is really not a fun thought.  I heard that a barred owl has been sighted over there however.  That would really be nice to get a pic of an owl.  Barred owls are one of our biggest owls, the other two being great horned owl and great gray owl.  And we sometimes get snowy owls in winter, but they are very unpredictable in there visits.  If it wasn’t for the bears, I would go over there at night and call the owls.  However, not with bears in the neighborhood.  Not me.

And now for some bright summer scenery to enjoy…

The river on a sunny July afternoon when the water was still low.  This is another spot that was nice to sit, relax and just enjoy the view.

    • We don’t have any farms in this part of Canada, but in areas where there is farms, yes, they do have windmills though it’s still not that popular yet.

    • Thanks Simon! Yes, it was nice yesterday, up to 7C!🌞😎 But now it’s back to that strong north wind and cold temps until Thursday!😳😳 They keep changing our forecast.😬 But they did say it would be a colder than normal spring.😳🤪🙄 Sigh. Enjoy your weekend Simon!😃😺🌞

      • Come on where this north wind comes from again. Don’t say it’s coming from north. 😳 It’s an unpredictable climate I must say. But I’m glad you still enjoy your inside fun with Muffin and your little friends. ✨🤗

      • Yes, we can still enjoy things inside or even out in the cold a little bit.😁😸 Yes, it should actually be 10 degrees warmer than it is.😳🌞 We should have temps of 15 or even 20 this time of year,😁 but this is now the 5th year in a row of cold weather and long winters and short summers.🙄😳 Sigh. It’s getting colder,🥶 over here at least.😵 You are going to enjoy hot weather,😎🌞 we are going to freeze.😂😹🥶🙀

      • Don’t say that, you won’t have fun, I wear just a short and roam inside and outside. This is very hot, I should drink more than 8 litres of water a day to keep my hyderated no matter what, AC or Fan we still sweat so badly and the need to take bath twice is unavoidable. You’ll need it, because in the end of day you don’t want to smell like a fried fish 😜😂. It will always look green on the other side, but it comes with a pain 😂😉

      • Here you have to bath very fast before the water freezes and you can’t get out of the bathtub!😂😹🤪 Yes, that sounds like it was in France. Soooo nice!🌞😎🌴 But who knows, maybe I would get tired of it after awhile. Right.😂😹🙄

      • I bet you’ll get tired of it in half a day, it will start so nice in the morning, and later it will start to suffocate you,🙄😉 good in a way and bad in lot of ways 😳 Maybe France is better than our place 😉👍

      • Probably not half a day, maybe a couple weeks, it’s amazing how much heat I can tolerate!😎🌞🌞🌴 Probably hotter where you are than in France though.🤔😃🌞🌴 Always there is a plus and a minus, so best to just be satisfied,😄 even if it means freezing for 7 months of the year!😂😹🙄
