To Mom…A Poem.

To Mom

Many months you carried me,

All the while, so lovingly.

As a babe you held me dear,

Your loving voice I could hear.

As a child, you taught me well,

You picked me up, when I fell.

You would wipe away each tear,

Showed me I had naught to fear.

When a child, you held my hand,

Then you taught that I could stand.

You showed love, that I could see,

This is the way, it should be.

You taught much, I’ll not forget,

Though you’re gone, I love you yet.
