Summer morn, with sunrise bright,

Filling all around with light.

Clapping leaves, in brilliant green,

Sky so blue completes the scene.

Summer morn, so fresh and clear,

Such a time, it is so dear.

Birds that sing from morn till night,

Chorus loud, that sounds just right.

Summer morn, with beauty bold,

Enjoying this, ne’er grows old.

O’er each lake and rocky hill,

Summer morn, so calm and still.

      • Let’s all expect this year to end the summer by September. Lot of climate change is happening around the world after lockdown. my lockdown extended till Jul 31st 😵 Its gng to be fun working out and stay fit 😁🤗

      • Yes, it would be nice to have a longer summer for a change, it’s been a long time since we had a long summer. Wow, another month! I heard that there was a lot of new cases in India,😳 not good,😬 stay safe Simon,😳😀 don’t take chances. Great idea, you have your own private gym! Have fun!😁🏋️‍♂️🚴‍♂️🤸‍♂️💪🦶🏊‍♂️🧗‍♂️🛀

      • Thank you Steve, Yes it’s good to have a long summer ✨😍 Let’s hope it will be. Yes Steve Cases are increasing, after coming Sunday there are lot of options like 100% can go to office, and lot more, but still have to be more more careful.☺️ Hope your day was good.       • Yup, sounds different right, and this is the lockdown happening here 😂 previously it was 30% then 50% now 100% as they can’t control corona anymore 😉 Enjoy ur Monday night too ✨☺️🤗

    • Sorry, that wouldn’t fit the syllable count which I keep at 7. It would be too long otherwise and would be totally out of place with the structure of the poem. But thanks for your input.
