Good morning everyone on this rather cool and cloudy morning! This is going to make 3 days in a row of cooler than normal weather for us. Oh well, it’s going to warm up again later this week, so we’re told in the forecast anyway. Sir George and Lady Pearl were the first, and only, gulls this morning. That’s kind of odd, not sure what happened to the others. I stayed outside long enough to talk with the 2 of them while they were eating, then I came back inside to drink my coffee. However, while outside Coffee came for his peanuts, still taking just one at a time. But Skamper was not far behind this morning, followed by Pocket and Skatter. I didn’t see Skitter but I’m sure he was around, unless he is still working on Runner’s stash. Runner was here early this morning too and managed to get some peanuts for himself.

At one point Skamper had just filled up with 3 peanuts and Runner spotted him just as he was going among the flower pots. The chase was on! Skamper jumped over the water dish, poor Runner landed right in the water which slowed him down since he was in a bit of a shock, so Skamper got away. Another time he was chasing Skamper around the flower pots and Skamper made a 180 degree turn so fast that Runner lost sight of him briefly and Skamper was off the deck in the opposite direction before Runner could catch him. Another time Runner was chasing Pocket and Pocket instead of going over the edge of the deck made a 90 degree turn which Runner was not expecting and over the edge he flew…right to the ground. Runner is not having a good morning. Maybe he will do better tomorrow.

    • Here it is like 87 F in the day and around 70 F at night but temperatures depend on the elevation…
      Give me the colder weather from Canada and take the warmth from here …

      • It was 70 in Calgary yesterday and 76 today. Yet it’s super hot in my apartment since I don’t have AC… I’m melting in my apartment.

      • It’s like that in my apartment too, if the sun is shining even on a cool day it can get hot in here. However, that’s okay with me!😁🌞 Muffin doesn’t mind as long as she can have her window open.😺

That was an epic action movie 😍 Skamper, Skitter, Runner, Coffee I love all of them, please help them if any one falls on water 😉 Someone teased you about the warm climate 😜 here it was 86F 😂. and it was ok here today.     • That’s okay, the water dish is shallow so they can get out easily, I made sure of that. Runner does get good exercise chasing everyone!😁😹 Only 70 here today, no rain yet but it is cloudy. There really isn’t anything that can be done for this, doctors just don’t know enough about it yet or how long these effects will last. My immune system can’t be boosted due to my medication. It’s been bad ever since I had polio as a kid, so I have always gotten sick easily. And being allergic to so many things doesn’t help either. Basically plenty of rest, stay away from stress (hmm, guess that means staying away from people😂😹), get outside as much as possible, walk on level ground (that’s a funny one in this town🤣), don’t do anything strenuous or overdo things.🙄 Sigh. Eat properly.🤪 Sigh again.😁😸

  5. Oh I love those pink and white flowers ! Very good photo ! I wonder whether animals and birds get Covid-19 or not…listen to your doctor…maybe we will have a vaccine for the next round of Covid-19… take care Steve and Muffin ! ☕️☕️🤔🙂😺🐿🥜

    • Thanks Sharon! Apparently dogs and cats can get it, though it’s not common, don’t know about other animals. Yes, hopefully we will. Have a good evening!😃😺🌞🌙

  9. It was 100 F with a heat index of 109 yesterday. Then we had a thunderstorm which the temps cooled down to the low 90s. We don’t usually see 100 degree days in North Georgia. Thanks for sharing the lovely pics! 😺🌞☕️☕️🌺 🌸 🌼
