Smiling Dragonfly. A Poem.

Brightly colored, flying past,

Wings so light, yet move you fast.

Every way, eyes look around,

Watching close, where food is found.

Moving forward, even back,

Up and down, you sure don’t lack.

Colorful, you sparkle bright,

Sometimes though you give a fright.

Sitting still, you land on me,

Your smiling face then I see.

Wondrous patterns, bright and fair,

I can see them everywhere.

Up you go and fly away,

Please come back another day.

    • Thank you Ribana!😁
You’re not alone, lots of people don’t like them up close!😳
But yes, they are beautiful insects.
      Have a great day!πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ΊπŸŒž

    • That’s cool Jessica! Must admit, when I was a kid I did not like them, those terrifying dragons in the air attacking me! But I learned how cool they are and started to like them.πŸ˜πŸ˜ΈπŸŒžπŸ‰πŸ›©

  1. That’s so beautiful 😍. I can remember 8 yr old dead dragon fly discovered behind my window gap πŸ˜‚. I love dragon flies sadly we don’t have much here to show my brother’s kids how a real dragon fly looks like
