Morning Coffee At Steve’s Country #6.
Good morning and Happy Sunday to everyone! The coffee is on, so help yourself, sit back and relax with us once again. It’s another cloudy day with a rather thick fog, ice fog actually, with the possibility of freezing drizzle or flurries later. Nothing to really bother us though and it is fairly mild this morning, 25F (-4C), which is nice. Muffin is certainly full of life this morning playing especially with her toy mouse. So I decided to join in the fun for a bit too, good way to get some exercise. Sort of.
Okay, Muffin gets the exercise and I get some fun. She was really jumping high after that mouse this morning as I tossed it for her! And she caught it every time too. I was quite surprised at how long she kept it up as well. She was even playing by herself earlier. Lots of energy I guess. That happens sometimes. Poor Muffin yesterday, I brought out my drill for a project I’m working on. Normally the drill doesn’t bother her, but she was sleeping soundly when I turned it on and…she suddenly disappeared. I didn’t do much, and afterward I went and found her to let her know the noise was all finished. She gave me this “look” and then went walking back to the chair to continue her nap.
At least she didn’t bite my foot, that was nice. Well, the number of birds is about the same as yesterday, and speaking of yesterday, the evening grosbeaks showed up later in the morning for awhile. And not so surprising those rock doves showed up at nearly the same time. However, the grosbeaks did get about 10 minutes without any disturbance. I’m sure those rock doves must follow the grosbeaks wherever they go. And now my neighbor has started feeding the rock doves. But not the neighbor that doesn’t like me feeding birds. Well im sure that will change. It is only early December, so lot’s of time yet for snow to arrive. Especially with all the people out there hoping for a white Christmas.

Yep, they got battery operated heaters in just about everything these days. But I couldn’t find a heater in a toque. Does that mean there is a lot of hot heads around?

Hey, look at it this way… you know whats coming now you can be ready! Buy band aids every week and when you need them you’ll have them! You might want to not poke hole in your fingers though.. just in case you spring a leak somewhere else.😬

To keep my feet warm. But I do change them often in winter since the rug in front of the door keeps getting wet and I keep forgetting and stepping on it and get wet feet so I change my socks and come out of the bedroom stepping on the same rug and getting wet feet again so I have to go back and change my socks again so then I decide to put on my slippers to walk across the rug except they are in the living room so I try to walk across without stepping in water which never works but I retrieve my slippers and bring them back with me to change my socks again. Sigh.

Plan? What an idea! I should try that sometime. Yep, scratching my head all the way! That little one was just a trial version to see if it would work. Now I’ll make a bigger one.

Good evening Simon! Still morning here, almost sort of, well, kind of lunch time. That means I have to eat again, rats, maybe I will skip lunch today.
