For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Meow, meow!=Hi everyone, it me again, Muffin! I was supposed to do part 2 of my cats are good for people’s health post this afternoon, but something came up for my human that he had to do right away so he couldn’t type for me. Before I continue from part 1, I won’t be writing my “mewsings” next week, which is why I’m here today. My human has something else planned for next week, he said it a surprise. Better be good surprise or I bite foot! Now, back to showing why cats are good for human people’s health. Oops, forget what I say about biting foot!π That joke!πΉ Okay, let’s talk about purring, cat’s purring that is, not my human’s purring. That not seem to do him much good.
But a cat’s purr is very good for human health. Cats purr at frequencies of 20 to 140 HZ and studies have shown that frequencies in the range of 18 to 35 HZ have a positive effect on joint mobility after injury. Now that a good thing for sure. But it not stop there, purring also help with bone growth and fracture healing plus inflammation and pain reduction! Wow, it get better all the time! Just ask my human, he have terrible pain all the time and he say it feel a lot better when I with him purring. But it not stop there, purring also help with wound healing, muscle growth and repair! It just keep on getting better. Plus purring help with reducing swelling and tendon repair. Cats are really good for human people’s health! These are found in real studies, we cats are amazing!
Having a cat around can also help to lower the risk of heart disease and stroke by up to 30%. Petting a cat can help lower blood pressure as well as lowering triglyceride and cholesterol levels! Petting a cat releases calming chemicals in human body that can help reduce stress and anxiety, a simple petting session is often enough to do the job. Now that really something, right? Having a cat sleep with you will also help you to sleep better which in itself help to improve health. Did you know that having a cat in your house can even help your immunity? By simply bringing pleasure into your lives, which help to produce an antibacterial peptide in body.
Human people sure have odd words, but I know it mean good things for your health. The pleasure we bring also help to enhance various immune components including B cells, T cells, NK cells and immunoglobulins. Wow, I can’t even meow that last word, it a big one. Also, having a cat can help to boost energy levels and just overall make you feel good about things and help get rid of negative feelings. That seem like a good list of things to me to help show how much we can help to improve your health! Well, thank you for once again stopping by to read my little “mewsings”! I be back again with some more fun things with my human and I. Hope you all have very nice and meowvelous day!
Muffin. (as meowed to her human, Steve)

It’s serious.
He got a Jab and is back home, more relieved. I feel so much happier that he’s been vetted.
