Steve’s Bird Of The Day #1.

Hi everyone and welcome to the first in our new series showcasing different bird photos from my collection. This is a pine siskin, a very small bird, smaller than a chickadee. These are more commonly seen in the summer than winter in this area, and they are members of the finch family. I said I would keep the writing short because this is just about the photo. However, twice a week on Tuesday and Friday I will talk a bit more about different birds found in this area. So please come back tomorrow morning for a closer look at the evening grosbeak, which is another finch. Have a great day, whatever part of the day you are in, and God bless!

Steve and Muffin.
