Coffee At Steve’s Country #35.

Good morning everyone! Time to grab some coffee, or tea, and join Muffin and I for a little relaxation. Muffin is already relaxing, a little too much though, she fell asleep! Maybe she was awake a lot last night. Two nights ago I looked out my bedroom window just as I was going to bed and there was a beautiful red fox digging around in the snow and came up with a chunk of fat that my landlord had tossed out for the ravens. But it had landed in the deep snow so the ravens were unable to get it. That didn’t stop this fox, he could smell food and he wasn’t leaving until he got it, and he was rewarded for his digging. He seemed to be quite satisfied and went off somewhere to eat his prize.

These are “Pearly Everlasting” wildflowers. The whole plant is covered with a whitish downy hair.

I tried hard to get Muffin up to the window, trying to sound excited which usually works to get her attention. She finally came up to the window for a look and spotted the fox right away. She looked at the fox, then at me. It was that ‘look’ on her face. Like she was saying, “that’s what you wanted me to see? That little puppy dog with big tail? He comes around every night, what’s so exciting?” So she left. Hmm, sometimes I think she knows more than I do about the animals around here. No doubt she sees a lot at night that I never see. So I’m quite sure she has seen this little fox before.

These are “Pussytoes” and are soft and fuzzy like real cat’s toes.

I keep looking now, maybe I can get a picture of it. Although taking pictures out the window at night can be tricky, even though there is a light on out there all the time. But it’s not a very bright light. But the possibility is always there. I told Muffin a while back I was going to show her favorite wildflower, that was about 2 weeks ago. So I’m showing it today. After all, it’s only fair. Her favorite is the “pussytoes”, a rather unique type of wildflower. And Muffin was showing me her pussy toes last night, complete with claws. That was enough of a reminder for me. It is very windy today, blowing in another blast of very cold weather, colder than before and it’s going to last longer too. The joys of winter. Hey Steve, Very Good Morning, how was your appointment gone 🤔 How is your pain now? is everything okay 😁all teeth are in place 🤔 Take care, now the fox had a treat great job he did, muffin and her look on her face 😅😂😂 totally got it, and that’s why the paws with the claws 😅😅 maybe she tried to show it as a signal for wild pussytoes😸😂 Have a lovely day..🤗

    • Good morning Simon!😁 I’m late, somehow missed your comment.🙄 Still in pain,😳 3 dentists and none would touch my tooth.😬 Seems it is a dangerous and risky thing to remove and it has to be removed.😲 So now I need to see an oral surgeon to take it out,🤪 but it could take a couple weeks to get an appointment with him, and that’s just so he can look at it and then he needs to schedule an appointment to remove it.😲🤯 Sigh. If I last that long. It’s partly because of Covid,😒 they can’t see as many patients now so it takes longer to get appointments. Plus living in a small town doesn’t help.🙄🤔 The pain isn’t quite as bad right now, the infection is gone.🙂 And now the cold weather returns! Wheeeeeee!!😂😂😹😹🧊🧊

      • 3 dentists 😳what have you done to your tooth 🤔oral surgeon 🙄hope it’s not that serious ☺️ don’t worry, it won’t be that serious as the infection gone already 🤗 I’m glad here it’s become super normal, we dont even think for mask these days 😉 except the cops are asking 😂. Hope your appointment comes soon and the infection will.be taken care of. cold weather returns 😳 cold cold cold.. rub my hands…. shoo shoo☺️😁🥂Have a nice evening Steve 🤗

      • I don’t know what happened with that tooth, but it has gone bad and pulling it could cause problems with my jaw, but it has to come out, getting infected again could cause some serious problems for me too. Oh well, it will be taken care of soon I hope.🙂 What? 😲No masks?😲 (Steve faints).🤪🤪 Yep, more cold, worse than last time!🥶🥶🥶 Good time to stay inside and drink COFFEE!!😁☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕🙀🙀

      • No no masks at all, except for some security purpose we do it 😳 yes it’s quiet shocking 🙄 not sure why 😸 people are very bad at following this. And tooth, that’s bad ☺️ hey did you ever forgot to brush your teeth 🤔😉 I use to do that a lot 😂😂 pls don’t miss that again, and don’t worry, doctors will figure out a way so it isn’t affecting your jaw ☺️ Take care, and change that coffee cup 😁
