For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Good morning and Happy Monday everyone! Time for some nice hot coffee, or tea, and set aside all the stresses of the day and just relax in our natural setting here for a little while. It is another cold day here so relaxing is best done inside. It’s -33F (-36C), with the windchill it’s down to -51F (-46C). Exposed skin can freeze in just a few minutes once again today, so time outdoors will be at a minimum. But just looking at some nice summer pics that are bright and beautiful can change the look of an entire day. Even on cold days like this we can still head out into the day, back at work, or out shopping, or just working around the house, with a smile and a great attitude! In other words, it’s another day for us to make a choice, and that is, choose to be happy, choose to have a great attitude which will help us and those around us.
It’s true there are a lot of pressures around us these days, but we don’t need to let those pressures knock us down. It’s all a matter of choice. We can choose to let those pressures knock us down, or we can choose to stay on top no matter what. So, let’s greet the day with a smile and keep smiling throughout the day. Today I am showing some bright flower pictures from last summer, normally I would do that on Sunday, but since I didn’t do it yesterday, they are here today. And I was reading some great news today as well.
The last 2 mornings I have talked about one of my all time favorite birds, the gray jay. It used to be called the Canada jay at one time about 60 years ago. But then the name was changed to gray jay. Now, the American Ornithological Society, which looks after name changes for birds, has agreed to restore the name of Canada jay once more! Since the vast majority of these birds live in Canada it does make sense. And now the push is on by Canadian nature groups to have our government declare the Canada jay as our national bird, which would be fantastic. We don’t have a national bird right now, which is kind of embarrassing since most countries do have one. Oh well, just a little added information about this wonderful bird. I hope you have a wonderful day and God bless!

Yes, and this cold is going to last until the weekend anyway. Yes, it would be nice to see the Canada jay as our national bird, but right now our government isn’t interested in picking a bird, too bad. Have a great day!ππΊββπ

π π Our super leader have come yesterday and will be staying here for 3days π people are expected to stay in office for 12 hours, my work life balance is a hit, my diet spoils and my workout time π leaders should teach their team to be healthy, not to be an example of a bad leader. Leadership alone is not making a leader, a perfect work life balance is. And that is missing, laughing at that fact ππ

Oh my, 12 hours??π² You need to tell your boss that 8 hours is the limit in other countries so he needs to cut your hours back to 8 and still pay you the same.ππ€¨π On the other hand, don’t listen to me.π³π³π€ͺ

π people should do that, pay for that hours back. Leaders think then we are not efficient enough ππ They are so silly ππ I only laugh at them and pretend to be one for today and tomorrow π πthat’s the least thing I could do here π ππ

Well, it might become our national bird some day, won’t happen this year,π maybe after this Covid has gone away then other things can start to happen.π But the majority of Canadians want it as our National birdππ so that’s a good start!π₯³π₯³
