Saturday’s Laughs.

Hi everyone! Time for a few more chuckles to share, I forgot to do this last night, sigh. Hope you enjoy them!

===============================

Customer on phone: “We need to order some four-by-twos.”

Lumber clerk: “You mean two-by-fours, don’t you?”

Customer: “Let me check …” “… Yeah, I meant two-by-fours.”

Clerk: “All right. How long do you need them?”

Customer: “I’d better go check …” “… A long time. We’re gonna build a house.”

===============================

I was in a long line at 7:45 am at the grocery store that opened at 8:00 for seniors only. A young man came from the parking lot and tried to cut in at the front of the line, but an old lady beat him back into the parking lot with her cane.

He returned and tried to cut in again, but an old man punched him in the gut, then kicked him to the ground and rolled him away.

As he approached the line for the 3rd time he said, “If you people don’t let me unlock the door, none of you will ever get in to shop.”

==============================

I was in the McDonald’s drive-through this morning and the young lady behind me leaned on her horn, because I was taking too long to place my order.

“Take the high road,” I thought to myself. So when I got to the first window, I paid for her order along with my own.

The cashier must have told her what I’d done, because as we moved up she leaned out her window and waved to me and mouthed “Thank you,” obviously embarrassed that I had repaid her rudeness with a kindness.

When I got to the second window I showed them both receipts and took her food, too.

Lesson: Don’t honk your horn at old people.

===========================

I’ve changed my mind a dozen times. It seems to work better now.

Have a wonderful evening everyone and God bless!
