Sunday’s Sunshine #6.

Good morning everyone! It truly was a beautiful, sunny morning here today, but the clouds are moving in now so our sunshine is disappearing. And we still have that strong, cold north wind today, that’s 8 days in a row now. That’s why it’s staying so cold, the temperatures should be about double what they have been the last few days. But warmer weather is coming. At least that’s what they tell us, it was supposed to start tomorrow, now they are saying Tuesday. But it’s coming! Wow, am I late this morning. I did start early, but there has been things happening.

Iceland Poppy.

Internet was down for a while, that’s getting to be a regular feature it seems. There was a lot of birds this morning, including a new one which I wanted to get a picture of that one, so it took a little time for that. It was a beautiful morning for pics with the sun shining on the trees and feeders. Even though it was a bit chilly out there. Finally I came back inside, got my jacket off, Muffin was looking out the window, kind of scared like. So I went to the window and…Bert was out there! I had just come inside. That means he was very close by while I was out there. Too close.

Iceland Poppy again.

He ate all the peanuts I had put out for the chipmunks and squirrels, he never went after peanuts at the start, so I didn’t mind putting out a lot at a time. Less trips outside. But I don’t put many sunflower seeds out at a time now, so he didn’t get many of those. I did find out that my odd looking plastic jug feeder survived the attack of Bert. Not bad. It may look funny, but the birds like it and Bert didn’t break it. That’s two pluses. And it’s cheap, which is better than losing a $20 feeder each time Bert shows up. I still need to figure out something for my hummingbird feeder before they come back. Bears love that sweet juice too. Sigh. I do have an idea though.

Daylily.

Hopefully it’s better than my last idea, which didn’t work. Little problems come along all the time, but we shouldn’t focus on problems all the time. There are solutions to problems. Solutions break through the clouds of problems, just like the sun breaks through the clouds at times reminding us that the sunshine is still there and will soon be back in full. Sometimes we are just a little too impatient and want the solution now, not tomorrow. Just remember, the sun always shines, no matter what the weather is like. We may not always see it, but it’s there and it will come back again. I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday and God bless!

  1. If you were living in the deserts of North Africa and the Middle East , you would definitely wish for a rainy cool weather .
Assume that you have already a warm weather and maybe you can attract it according to law of attraction . Feeling is the prayer as the bible says …

  2. Here in Lebanon , we have 4 seasons . Sometimes , we attract hot dry air waves from the Middle Eastern deserts in the south and in the Winter months or cold months , the atmosphere attracts to us very cold polar wind for the Northren poles …
    We are in Middle latitudes…

    • Yes, we enjoy 4 seasons here as well, though a little different in that one season, winter, is our longest lasting 6 or 7 months, the remaining time divided between the remaining 3 seasons.
