Monday’s Musings #9.

Good morning everyone! It’s a nice summer morning though partially cloudy and very smokey. The smoke from those fires a bit further north really came in last night so the smell is quite strong this morning. It also blocks the sun a bit so it doesn’t feel as warm. But it does give everything a nice golden glow look. It also makes for interesting sunrises and sunsets, except where I live I can’t see either one. Oh well. It has been busy out here this morning, both Jasper and Jasmine were here at the same time. Jasper went quickly and grabbed a peanut and then hid under a box.

Jasmine stayed in the open daring anyone to come near. Pocket accepted the challenge, came quickly, grabbed a peanut while Jasmine was looking the other way and ran off under the box next to Jasper. Jasmine moved over to the steps to eat her peanut. Suddenly there is 4 chipmunks on the step by the door filling up with peanuts fast as they can. Who worries about fighting when they have a common enemy to beat? They go and Jasper and Pocket come out together while I’m feeding the gulls. Of course I don’t have my camera with me, and there they are sitting about a foot apart getting their peanuts.

Didn’t last long and Jasmine came running back for another peanut herself. Jasper and Pocket scatter! Chickens. Went shopping this morning. Sure get a lot of people shopping early in the morning now. It is still the best time of day for shopping though. A lady was there looking for shorts. Store lady said this is all we have. Other lady asks when they will be getting new stock in. Store lady says this is it, it’s almost July, fall clothes will be coming next. Other lady says, but summer is just starting. Store lady says, true, need to shop earlier for summer clothes.

Other lady, somewhat annoyed by now, says, but the stores were closed, I couldn’t buy clothes. Store lady says, true, that’s why you need to shop earlier. Other lady, very annoyed now, says, but it was still cold spring then, I wasn’t thinking about summer clothes! She stomped away. I don’t think she was too happy. Amazing, here I thought it was only me that had problems in stores. Oh well. Must be time for a walk. I hope you all have a marvelous Monday and God bless!

Shop early, or shop earlier 🤣😝😂 I’m sure the lady was not happy with the response, it’s been 2 years I bought new pair of dresses for me 😂 last time I bought was for my cousin wedding 2019, time flew, my pants are getting tight 😅 and some time loose based on how much I’m interested to workout 😂🤣 glad I still fit, except some shirts, 😝

    • I don’t buy clothes too often either. I usually wait until they wear out.😁 But some people won’t wear clothes they wore last year.🙄 I have known people who would wear clothes until they got dirty, then go out and buy new clothes rather than wash the old ones.😳😳

      • what 😳 they won’t wear they wore last year? 🤯I faint 🙈 people do exist like THAT?😮 omg that is, that is, really bad 🙄😐 what kind of habit was that 🤔 well i know, that is, shopping disorder 😅

      • that is a lot of credit card bill 🙄 I have to buy shorts, it’s been so long I have only one, tomorrow the shopping must be done ☺️ this is where I think about shopping 😉
