The car was actually a limousine, huge, complete with driver and the young lady who sat with us in the back. “And how did Muffin and Mr. Cat enjoy the plane ride?”, she asked them. Meow,meow=Oh, it fun, lots of fun watching clouds. Meow.=Yep, like watching clouds on top side. I translated for the lady. She just smiled, I don’t think she believed me. How odd. More odd was the fact that she knew the cat’s names. I wonder what is going on? “Here we are at the hotel Mr. Leff,” she said and in we went. She did all the talking and signed us in. Then up we went to the fourth floor and she opened the door for us and looked around.

It was quite a nice suite, with separate bedroom. Each room was huge, not your typical hotel room that’s for sure. Definitely not what I would normally get. Hmm, I wonder if Baldwin is behind all of this? After she looked around to make sure everything was in good condition she handed me the card key. “There is a very nice restaurant on the main floor, a large pool and garden area out back,” she said, “anything you want just order through the front desk, it is all paid for. Feel free to use the pool or spend time in the garden. But, do not leave the hotel grounds, for reasons I cannot talk about. But you will be contacted soon, today or tomorrow and your questions will be answered.”

“Okay,” I said, “all this is very nice, but you and I both know I am not Mr. Leff, so why do you keep calling me that name?” “Again Mr. Leff, your questions will be answered when you are contacted,” she said politely, “and you don’t need to wait in your room, please take advantage of the hotel grounds, the garden is very beautiful right now, I am sure you will enjoy it. If you have any problems with the hotel, you can get in touch with me at this number.” And she gave me her card. “Now I need to leave, have a great time Mr. Leff,” she said and off she went. “Well you two, what do you think?”, I asked them, “this is all rather strange.”

Meow,meow.=Yep, very strange, not understand what going on, but human woman seem very nice, not like bad guy woman. Meow.=I agree with Muffin, not know why, but human woman seem very nice, not bad, but something strange going on and I have bad feeling about that. “I agree with you both,” I said, “that young woman does seem to be very nice, but that doesn’t fit. Something is going on here and I have a bad feeling about it too. She knew I wasn’t Mr. Leff which means these people want to keep things secret. So they likely won’t give us their real names. Rats, forgot the scrambler.”

Meow,meow=It okay, I remember and plug in before human woman leave. “Good thinking Muffin,” I said, “now, we might not even get to see these people. They must want us to do something for them, but what? And how is this connected to the bombing and the case on Lonely Road? Was all that done just to get us here? That doesn’t make sense at all. But I guess we will just have to wait until they contact us.” So we order some food up to the room for lunch, rather than taking the cats to the restaurant. Afterwards we went down to spend some time in the garden. It really was beautiful.

I sat on one of the benches while the cats ran around for a while. They needed to get rid of some energy, but not too much, they may need it yet. I decide to call Baldwin to let him know what’s going on, I can just imagine what he will say. But what he said was far from what I imagined. It seems that two of the guards he had placed at the hospital were working for someone else and they kidnapped the girls. A note was left which just said: “you will be contacted later”. Somehow I have the feeling that has something to do with what is happening here. I would guess it’s insurance to make sure I will do what they say. I call the cats over and tell them what has happened. They were not happy and neither was I. But, what I didn’t know…

  3. Hey, Steve and Muffin! I had major issues with Eugi’s Causerie with more than half of the images and featured images had disappeared! It took me 4 days to replace them. I also cleaned out the duplicates and unused images in my media, which was a very tedious process. Give Muffin an extra hug!☕️☕️🙀😱😬 🙄

    • Wow, that’s terrible!😲 I was wondering what happened to you, I really should keep up better,🙄 but so much of my day is spent outside now that summer is here. I hope you have everything backed up. That reminds me, I’m overdo for a backup of my blog. I sure hope nothing like that happens to me, so sorry to hear that.😬🙀 Muffin sends hugs back for you and Callie!😀😺😻🌞☕☕

      • I keep most of my images on my hard drive, which I back up with an external hard drive. I should back up my blog more often but I forget. My Media was not maxed out so don’t understand what happened plus the images were still there but not in my posts. Oh well, I think it’s fixed now. 😃
