Steve And Muffin’s Weekly Art In Nature #6.

Hi everyone! Welcome back to our Art in Nature series! I hope you are all enjoying these different wonders found in nature that are beautiful works of art in their own right. Even our own gardens can produce some interesting objects of art like the picture below of the bud for a poppy.

Most of the time we wouldn’t even pay much attention to the buds of flowers, but really, they can be quite interesting. Walking down to the river earlier this summer I came across some pink mushrooms. I mean, how often do you find mushrooms in a pink color. But here they are in the picture below.

They are puffball mushrooms, and the name of these is specifically “stalked puffball-in-aspic”. The name is as amazing as the pink color! Just don’t know where they come up with some of these names. Anyway, I hope you have enjoyed these objects of art in nature today. Have a great day and God bless!

Steve and Muffin.

  1. Excellent photos! A couple of weeks ago, I was walking along a canal towpath. Hidden down below were some giant puff mushrooms. They were white in color, looked like giant marshmallows, and were the size of a soccer ball.
