I had opened the curtains on the window to look at the moon, which was nearly full that night. And MC alerted the girls to that face in the window once again, Hermit Pete! They both went to the door and went outside with MC, but Hermit Pete was gone. How could he disappear so quickly? It did not make sense. No one could get away so quickly as he just did. And that window is too high off the ground to stand and look inside, yet somehow he did it.
“There are too many strange things happening around here,” said Galyna. “Yes, and all these people here right now, they must all be after the same thing, whatever it is,” said Sigurbjorn, “even the owners want it.” “Yes, it is quite a puzzle,” admitted Galyna, “about all we can tell so far is that whatever the secret, it must be worth a great deal of money.”
“Also, I just do not believe that Kat could be guilty of something so horrible against Steve,” said Sigurbjorn, “I know that I have only been with you for a short time, but Kat, it is just not possible.” “I agree with you,” said Galyna, “somehow that new medication was added to the package. I wonder what car she was driving?” “Oh, she didn’t drive, one of Baldwin’s men drove her in his car,” said Sigurbjorn. “Then that is it,” said Galyna, “someone else was in that car and added the medication.”
“But how?”, asked Sigurbjorn, “that seems a bit hard to do.” “Well, we will check that out later,” said Galyna, “another thing that puzzles me is those 4 men, they hardly ever leave their cabin except to come and eat.” “Hmm, perhaps we should check their cabin,” said Sigurbjorn, “a couple of us could look it over while they are eating.” “Not a bad thought,” said Galyna, “now I suppose we should get some sleep too.”
Right after breakfast a large helicopter came flying in and let down the rest of our team and then left again. It was easy for them to explain their arrival since they had lost contact with us and were worried. Everyone seemed to accept that explanation. And there were extra cabins available anyway so Paul and Beth did not mind making a little extra money renting them to their new guests. Then we all got together to talk and Mriya told us about those pills and what they did and that Chung had said to stop using them right away.
Kat gave them to Mriya and said she could not understand how they could have been added to the package. Galyna asked if anyone else was in the car but there was not. Kat had put the package in the back along with some other things from the clinic and then sat in the front with the driver. “We will have to check and see if someone could have hidden in the back of that car,” said Jennifer.
I was still sleeping up to this point but Kat finally woke me up so I could join the group. My head felt funny and I was still insistent that we should leave right away. But then I noticed Rock was there and I suddenly calmed down and said maybe we should stay on for a while and find out what is going on here. The cats then meowed at the door and wanted in. They had been outside looking around for clues.
Meow,meow.=Older human men and man from second human family out talking behind cabin so we join in. They not mind us there since we just cats. Meow.=Yep, but we not stay too long so they not get supper stitches about us. “Um, that is suspicious guys,” said Jenny. Meow.=I just say that, you not hear so good today? Meowr.=They talk about plans to get lots of gold out of here. They say gold stolen long time ago so it okay for them to steal it again now.
Meow,meow.=Yep and they not want owners to get any of it. Then we go over to where owners and helpers talk in garden. They want gold too, but not know where it is and they not want others to find it first. “Wow, that is a lot of information for one morning,” said Kat, “you 3 deserve a big treat for that.” “Yes, I agree,” I said, “now it is up to us to find this gold before any of them do, and before this Q and her men find it.”
“This means there are 3 groups trying to find this gold at the same time,” said Kristina, “we need to work fast.” Kat informed me right then that they sent Salka’s body back in the helicopter, which is good. Fortunately they had a way to lift her body aboard without landing. “We need to work fast, but also carefully,” I said, “we do not want anyone else getting killed.” But…

Looks like Steve is being weaned from the pills that he has…what kind of a vehicle was used to bring the meds for Steve ? Better check to see whether the meds have been tampered with…🕵️♂️👩🤔😼😼😼❗️

Kat brought the medications in Baldwin’s own limousine. Nothing seems to be wrong with anything, just the addition of those pills. Now, what will happen when I am taken off the pills I wonder? But more importantly, how do we now find this gold that is obviously hidden somewhere around here? Hopefully before someone else gets killed.🤔👩😾😾😾🕵️

I supper stitches that there is someone in Baldwins organization that is trying to set up Kat as the villain But I can see that the team sniffed that out right away!😉😁 Now they need to find out what caused that big rock slide and where it was at!🤔🤔 I like this story!! Three groups all fighting over one treasure!!😊😁

Yes, that is quite possible. Maybe someone is working with Q to destroy us. Maybe Q is in Baldwin’s organization too. So many possibilities. I am sure Rock will inform us about those landslides soon. 3 groups fighting over 1 treasure. But does the treasure even exist? Maybe someone found it years ago. Or maybe its…🤔👩😾😾😾🕵️

Well, it might have been real, but found already. And it might not have been much gold. Some of these things grow in size over time as people talk about it. Perhaps there is a cave or old mine up here where the gold is hidden. Or maybe the original Hermit Pete found it and hid it somewhere else. We need to find out where he used to live.🤔🕵️

Hmm, no older residents living up this way, just this resort, and no way down that road so we will just have to look for ourselves. Without attracting attention somehow.🤔🕵️

Well you’re not able to go on Safari!!🤨 It’s best to let Rock and Kat and Jenny lead the groups they can cover more area quickly! Besides you and the cats have to do some searching around the resort to figure out how this so called ghost 👻 is appearing and disappearing so quickly! I think it’s a hologram projection!😉😁

I don’t think Kat will let me stay back alone, even with the cats around. She will want at least 2 of them with me, or maybe stay with me herself. If Hermit Pete is a hologram, then that means he’s a ghost and there are no ghosts. Interesting though that he only shows up in windows, never walking around somewhere. I also think the real Hermit Pete didn’t live too far away, though there might not be much left of his old mountain cabin.🤔🕵️

Good way to think of it! Maybe he found it and buried it under his floor! The hardest part is not attracting attention as we go looking for the cabin. That won’t be easy with 3 groups watching every move we make! But I have an idea that might work.🤔🕵️
