For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Good morning once again everyone!
The beauty in nature can be found in so many different ways and places. Like in the above photo. Here we have the seeds of the “Smooth Yellow Violet”. They are so tiny, yet hold dozens of seeds for new plants. Each “cup” holding seeds is about 3/8 of an inch (9mm) long and holds 9 to 12 seeds. Of course not all will grow as the seeds are food for some birds and other critters like mice and chipmunks. The parent plants will still grow next year as well. But the open pod makes a beautiful object of nature itself just as the flower did in the spring. Have a wonderful day everyone and God bless!

I had to spend much of the day in bed due to my back, but I did get out in the sun for a bit and got some pics too, so it was a wonderful day!ππΊππ·

Thank you Simon! Wow, always thinking of food, sounds like me! Yes, those seeds don’t stay like that for very long before they spread all over the ground.ππ·ππΊ
