“My voice shalt Thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto Thee, and will look up.”  Psalm 5:3 KJV

So often we are in such a hurry to get going in the morning.  There is so much to do and so little time to do it.  Rush to eat breakfast, rush to work, there is always something to make us rush around.  But one thing we often forget or just don’t think is necessary, that is, spending time with the Lord in the morning.  Our days would often go a lot better and problems would be easier to handle, if we would take some time, in the morning, to spend with the Lord reading our Bible, thinking about what God is saying, and take time to pray!  Honestly, we would see a remarkable difference in our lives.

“Casting all your care upon Him: for He careth for you.” 1 Peter 5:7 KJV.

Sometimes problems come into our lives.  And more problems.  And often times we either try to run from them or we sit and worry about them.  But what does that solve? Worrying only causes more problems and can even affect our health.  So what should we do?  As our scripture says, we need to give those problems to the Lord and let Him take care of them.  He knows all about every problem we have and there is nothing too hard for Him to do.  Absolutely no thing!  We need to trust the Lord!

“Thou openest Thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.”  Psalm 145:16 KJV.

Isn’t it amazing? God has promised to satisfy us, help us, and supply for us!  But what about us?  All too often we are not satisfied with Him.  Instead we try to get our satisfaction from the world.  We are constantly after ‘things’ which can’t give us true satisfaction.  We need to stay close to the Lord and always be satisfied with Him!

I pray these simple thoughts will be a blessing to you this week, God bless!

Steve.

  1. I never saw this section of your blog – usually I just catch up through whatever I see posted on the WordPress reader – I certainly need to come visit your page directly more often. Good stuff that we all need to be reminded of, and often.

    • Thanks, I need to add more to those pages, haven’t added anything since spring, it’s been a busy summer. Things will get back to normal when the cold of winter hits! Actually I will be starting shortly to update everything starting with my about page.🙂😺
