Devotionals. (#8-#11)

“O Lord, Thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, Thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.” Psalm 139:1-3 KJV.

What a thought! The Almighty God, the Creator of the universe, knows all about us, there is nothing hid from Him.  He knows all about every trial or hardship that comes our way. And He is always there to strengthen and help us.  There is nothing too hard for our God.

“Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and His greatness is unsearchable.” Psalm 145:3 KJV.

We need to remember to praise our God on a daily basis. And not just when things are going well, but even when things are not going so good.  He is worthy of all our praise for He is great indeed.

“I will delight myself in Thy statutes: I will not forget Thy Word.” Psalm 119:16 KJV.

We ought to take time each day to read, memorize and study God’s Word.  If we don’t we are very likely to forget it altogether.

“Sing unto the Lord; for He hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.”  Isaiah 12:5 KJV.

We should always take time each day to remember all the great things that God has done for us.  If we would do this, we would see just how much the Lord has done for us.  Then we should praise and thank Him for everything.

I hope these simple thoughts will be a blessing to you this week, God bless!
