God’s Awesome Creation!

Greetings everyone and thank you so much for taking the time to check out this new section on Steve’s Country!  Here you will find a number of short articles detailing some amazing facts of the world God has created.  I believe that God created this whole universe with everything in it and that He did so by the Word of His power as it says in the Bible, Psalm 33:9 KJV “For He spake, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.” I also believe that this took place only about 6,000 years ago and did not happen through billions of years of evolution.

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Genesis 1:1

“And God saw everything that He had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.” Genesis 1:31

Truly things have been marred by the effects of sin, but the greatness of God is still very much visible in what He has created.  I hope these short articles will be a blessing to you and cause you to see a little more of our awesome God, how He watches over all things, including us and showing just a little of His amazing provision.

We do have an awesome God so please join me on a little tour of God’s awesome creation! I will be adding more articles as time permits, hopefully something new each week.  Thanks for reading and God bless!

  2. That’s great! I got my first camera when I was around 8 or 9 and have been at it ever since! What’s your favorite thing to photograph?

    • Probably birds would be tops on my list! Although as I sort through my photos I think chipmunks must be the most photographed of all. I love those little critters, they always make my day and I look forward to them coming out of hibernation soon. What’s your favorite?

      • That’s awesome! I love photographing nature, but I don’t have a good zoom lens, so I don’t have very many close-ups of animals. I love waiting outside by our bird feeder for hummingbirds and photograph those, even if I have to wait for an hour until the hummingbirds come back. 😀 I also love doing portraits. 🙂 Have you ever heard of Flickr?

      • Flickr, absolutely. I have tried portraits, but people are always so uncooperative! So I basically gave up and kept to nature. I am going to try and photograph as many wildflowers as I can this summer, might be difficult with some of the smaller ones though, can’t get in close enough with my camera.

  4. Hi Steve. Just discovered this page and I love it! The photos are amazing quality and some really interesting facts. I love the snowflake one: each is unique but they all have something in common. A bit like humanity then! 😂
