Campfire…A Poem.

CAMPFIRE

Just one campfire, so weak and small,

Can cause such damage over all.

This great forest, so vast and green,

Yet turned so black and looking mean.

A cup of water, not enough,

To stop the heat in ashes tough.

Put out the fire now, before

That fire does grow, more and more.

A little fire can grow fast,

And leaves nothing but black at last.

Destruction comes and terror too,

There’s little left and that is true.

  1. Yes, we have to be careful of what we do in the forest.
But if I was to interpret this poem in human emotion, yes, we should put the fire out before we destroy ourselves.
