Muffin’s New Day

Now it’s here, another day,

Time for me to jump and play!

But my human wants to sleep,

So it’s time, on him, to leap!

Perfect jump, on his tummy,

Eyes go big, round and funny!

Race is on, just watch us go,

Oh, poor human, kick his toe!

Now, on one leg he does hop,

But soon, his groans, he will stop.

He’s better now, puts foot down,

Right in my food, now I frown!

But such a look on his face,

Makes me laugh and jump and race!

My human sits, gives big sigh,

With such fun, I don’t know why!

      • I’m doing okay Sophie, I’m finally getting back to a little walking again although my injury still bothers me. There is a lot of Corona cases in our province but so far none in my town. But there is a lot of restrictions now, most stores and restaurants have closed. I have to be on a gluten free diet but it’s impossible to get gluten free food now. But hopefully this won’t last too long. How is it your way?🤔 Has school been closed there?🤔 School is closed here in Canada. I’m in a high risk category so I have to stay inside,😳 I have a low immune system. Muffin is fine. meow, meow, meeeeeeeeeoooooooooow!!😺😸😻😻😻😹I think she just said something funny about me.😂😹

      • I’m sorry that the injury still hurts ☹ And that seems scary 😱 I hope you remain very safe and sound. That sounds hard too, living without gluten free diet 😦 Schools are closed here too.

      • My doctor told me I would have problems all my life now and I need to be especially careful because I could injure myself more easily again.
        Right now I am staying inside and away from people.😕 But I still have all my birds outside to watch🙂 and hopefully once the snow is gone I can get out and walk more.😀🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️ I am being very careful these days for sure.

      • Hi Sophie! Good to hear from you again. Are you planning to continue posting?
        I’m recovering still from this virus, though I’m now virus free, but it really tore my body apart so it will take a long time to get back to normal again. This is an old post so I don’t mind mentioning it, though please don’t mention it on a newer post, I don’t want everyone knowing about it. Muffin is doing fine.
        We are in spring now though it has been cold here for nearly a week and still a few more days to go before it’s back to normal spring weather.😀🌞😺
