Thank You Everyone!

Hello to you all on this thrilling Thursday!  We hit a new milestone this morning for our Daily Pics, this being day 100!  But, even better, we also topped 700 followers as well!  I never thought that number would ever be achieved but here it is!!  And it’s all thanks to YOU, my 703 followers of Steve’s Country!  Muffin and I are overwhelmed that you have chosen to follow along with us each day with our many adventures, and a few misadventures.

We have enjoyed getting to know so many of you in so many different places around this big world that we all live on together.  You are more than just readers and followers, you are friends.  And I have had the pleasure of actually meeting some of you in person as well.  And we have heard from so many of you saying how much you like it here.  This is a blog that is a bit different than others.  A place to get a few laughs.  A place to wander around the world of nature with us.  A place to relax for a few minutes from the cares and stresses around us.  And that’s what Steve’s Country is all about.

And I’m also so glad that many have said that they feel right at home here too, and that is just great.  Muffin and I enjoy our coffee times where we get to sit and enjoy our time together, getting to know one another and relax with a cup of coffee, or tea, hot chocolate, milk tea, we have it available.

And, of course, our new mystery story series has become very popular with Muffin and I sharing the role of private investigators, though I think Muffin is definitely the star of the series.  And there will be a new story coming up on Monday taking us to another new and exciting location.  I hope you will enjoy that one as well.  Muffin is already packing for the trip.  She likes to be prepared for anything.

      • I don’t know which one takes more bravery: taking a selfie with a chipmunk and sharing it online OR taking a selfie with a chipmunk outside in the frigid cold! Keep up the great work, Steve! 😄

    • Thank you very much Simon!😀 Yep, you get to see me for a change,😁😸 I figured if Rusty would join me in a pic I would show myself and so what happens?🤔 He cooperates.🙄🐿 And yep, I’m very white!😂😹 That’s what happens in our long winters!🤪👻 We moved to ON when I was 14, before that we lived in our neighboring province of Manitoba, just as cold but no trees.😂😹🙄
      A cold morning, but supposed to reach all the way to 4C today, colder weather coming though.😳😳🙀

      • I happen to google your place, it’s the most beautiful in winter I must say, both ON and Manitoba. Yes less trees ins Manitoba 😜 So you got used to this weather 🙄☺️ Icesee 😁 glad Rusty’s cooperation helped us to see a rare being on earth Mr. Steve 🤗😉 So glad you posted the picture of yours.       • It does look beautiful in winter, for about a month, after that…..😬
        It’s the cold that is the hard part,🥶😾 although years when we get 8 feet of snow or more are hard too.😳😲 Guess that would be about 2 1/2 meters.🤔 Sometimes more.😲😲
        It will be a long time before another pic of me shows up I’m sure!😂😹
