Good morning and Happy Friday everyone! Another fabulous morning and our warmest morning yet. It was so beautiful on the deck this morning I didn’t want to come back in, but then I wouldn’t be able to do my Daily Pics! Sir George and Lady Pearl were the first gulls here this morning and between them they cleaned up every crumb of food I put out there. The crows came down to an empty feeder which they were not too happy about. Those chipmunks and squirrels have good hearing, I put out peanuts for them, but quietly and right away the first little chipmunk head poked up over the side of the deck. Two chipmunks got their share before the squirrel caught on that there was peanuts out now. The chipmunks hang around under the bird feeders looking for sunflower seeds that they drop. I think they especially like it when the male hairy woodpecker shows up, he is always dropping lots of seeds. One way or another the seeds get eaten.

Yesterday was just so nice down at the river, it’s always a bit cooler down there. My friendly pelicans were not around though, I think they kept hoping I would feed them, so maybe they have moved on elsewhere. Mother mallard duck and her family of little ones were there, if it’s the same family she has lost a few babies, she only had 5 instead of 9 like the other day. But it could have been a different family too, a lot of ducks and geese raise their families on the river. And while I was enjoying the view a mother squirrel came along with a baby, he was about two thirds her size and he stopped to check me out while the mother kept on going down the path. The baby soon followed though. Most likely she was looking for a new territory for him where she will then leave him to start his own life.

Well, we are back to some peonies again today, two more different pink ones for you to enjoy. I think there is only one other peony I haven’t shown yet. The light pink peony is 7 inches (17.5cm) across, the darker pink one is about 5 inches (12.5cm) across. I hope you all have a wonderful Friday and God bless!

    • Yes indeed, very hot already and beautiful sunshine!😎🌞🌳🏞 It’s a fabulous Friday for sure! Might get thunderstorms later though,😬🙀⛈⛈ then we are supposed to get 3 rainy days in a row, but staying warm. Hope your day has been a good one!😁😸🤸‍♂️ Still working at home?🤔

      • Still working at home, yes, hopefully from next week all business will be open here, with rise in count, people are way too afraid to resume, very dangerous outside.😒. 😳 Thunder storms? 🤔 Why it comes on summer 🧐. Unpredictable 🙄. ,😂Enjoy the sunshine when you can Steve 🥰😸

      • Had a great walk to the river again,🚶‍♂️🏞 it was so nice down there.😎🌞 2 families of Canada geese were there today. Almost walked face first into a huge spider web today,😲😳 with a huge spider in the middle of it!😲🕸🕷 That would not have been nice, not at all.😳🤪 Sounds like a second thunderstorm is moving closer,😬⛈🙀 maybe it will miss this time.🤔 Good morning to you!😀😺

      • Good Steve, sadly the rain storms are occasionally coming in. if it isn’t it would be a lot better for you to roam around 😉👍. Spider ,🧐 Did u welcome it by smashing 🤔 I would have did it 😅😜. Hope your Friday is amazing 😸👍

      • That spider was too high in the air, might have got on me if I tried to do anything! I did get a good pic though,😁📷 looks like he has a mean grouchy face!😬🕷 It’s body was 2.5cm long. Good morning and good evening to you!! Hope your day was great, mine is starting off beautiful!😃😺

      • I don’t normally like to get my face that close to a large spider😵😳 and I don’t usually like taking pics of spiders anyway,😬 but, one of my followers wanted me to show pics of spiders,😬📷🕷 so I’m trying to get several without having a heart attack!😲 Scary things!!😳😳🙄
