Cats Are Cats. A Fun Poem.

Last night laying in bed, I couldn’t sleep so was thinking about my mystery story and the cats, and this poem came to mind.  Enjoy!

Cats Are Cats.

We cats like to run and play,

Sometimes laze around all day.

Eating plants and breaking stuff,

Till we just have had enough.

Cats are cats.

We can make our humans jump,

And bump their head with a thump!

They like to join all the fun,

But they don’t last, soon they’re done.

Cats are cats.

We cats also like to eat,

Then we go and bite some feet!

And, of course, we like to climb,

And make our own silly rhyme!

Cats are cats.

      Yes, you are absolutely right!😻😻
      I used to have a small female cat years ago that could jump from the floor to my shoulder without using her claws, she made a perfect jump each time.😻😸 I had another cat at the same time, he was bigger, and he tried that too,😬 but he used every claw he had and I’m sure a few extra!!😲😂😹 That really hurt.🤪😳

        When my little cat jumps she uses all the claws 😹🙀
        I thought my little kitty put on wait so she couldn’t climb my shoulder, but I was wrong. She has become more expert 😺 though she is not having mare rides (good for me😀)

      • I never could get Muffin interested in sitting on my shoulder, though she did try a couple times. She liked riding on my back for a while, but not anymore. She prefers playing fuzzball now and she likes when I crawl on the floor and chase her!😸😹😃
        Muffin and I just finished our play time, then I combed her and now she is sleeping for the morning.😀😻😻

        When I do cleaning or dusting I have little kitten sit on my shoulder. Other wise, I must face what you always face with Muffin 😹🤣
        Sweetie’s eldest daughter fall in love. She tried her best to stop her but rebellious young love won😹

      • Aww, that is so nice, kitten on your shoulder. That reminds me of a kitten I once had, he was so tiny but wanted to follow me everywhere, so I put him in my shirt pocket. He had his little head and front paws sticking out and purring the whole time until he would finally fall asleep.😀😺

  7. Yes! You nailed the personalities of our adorable furkids! Callie is a jumper and a feet biter. She loves to play and run and then finally, she takes a nap. ☕️☕️🍪🍪🐈🐈😸
