Muffin’s Christmas, A Fun Poem.

Muffin’s Christmas

Christmas time, just the day before,

Shopping is done, do we need more?

Our socks are hung, over the chair,

Hope they have dried, once Santa gets there.

Muffin is expecting, toys piled high,

Her toys are so many, I just sigh.

But though she has toys galore,

Knowing her, she always wants more.

Evening comes, we light up the tree,

A simple time, for her and me.

Night is here, and we’re off to bed,

Not before 5, is what I said.

I’m sure she heard, as down we lay,

But it matters not, what I say.

2 am, she bounces around,

Not yet, I said, and hold my ground.

She looks at me, lies down again,

She likely thinks, I’m hard to train.

It’s 4 am, now what to do?

Muffin jumps, like a kangaroo.

Up we get, I light up the tree,

Muffin runs around, quite happily.

Our socks are first, filled to the top,

Muffin just runs, not wanting to stop.

Gifts are next, we open them fast,

The paper she wants, it is the best.

Time to eat, and to settle down,

I am sure I saw, Muffin frown.

I reach to give Muffin her food,

And hit my head hard, that’s not good.

So as I sit, and go tweet tweet,

Muffin helps me, my food she eats.

Now it is over, once more done,

But Merry Christmas, everyone!

    • Thanks so much! No, Muffin is enjoying her napping today, back to normal schedule again I guess. No, I don’t have a pattern for the sleigh, probably did, but it was just one I made. Have a good night!😁😻🌙🎄🔔😴

    • Nice to have you back Eugenia! I lost a few followers in the last few days for the same reason and I have been knocked off a few other blogs myself. I wish they would fix that. To make matters worse I lost my whole list of followers! I’ve been spending a lot of time trying to find them again, even the ones I bookmarked were completely gone. Sigh. Ending the year crazy! Muffin and I have been having a great time though I will admit my health has been rough the last few days so my posting has been off. But I hope to get those posts back to normal soon. Hope you are enjoying the Holidays too Eugenia!😀😻🎄🔔🎁
