As they were leaving with Tanya, the nurse that had tried to lock out John and Frank decided to call for more help. She managed to get at least part of the call out but Aasta stopped her. “A receptionist should not be doing things like that,” said Aasta shaking her head. “I, am, a, nurse!” yelled the woman. “Hold onto that thought,” said Aasta, “you can tell it to the other inmates at the prison you will be living in for some time.”

The woman really turned red when Aasta said that, but she said nothing since four more guards came running into their area at that moment. However, Aari and Aasta pulled out their guns and told them to stop. “I will not hesitate to use this gun,” said Aari, “after all, it would be self defense which is quite legal, unlike what you are doing right now.”

“Help is on the way,” said Annelie to Aari. “Good, we could use it,” he answered. Security from Baldwin Corporation then arrived to help, and close behind them the police arrived plus numerous ambulances. “What is going on here?” demanded Dr. Wesley. “You are under arrest,” said the officer in charge, “and this so-called hospital is being shut down as of right now.

All the patients will be transferred to other hospitals for observation and proper treatment and every employee here is presently under arrest, or at least will be taken in for questioning. That includes your lawyer over there.” Sky and her team, as well as Tanya, were allowed to leave after showing their ID to the officer in charge.

There are benefits to being the head of Baldwin Corporation. People tend to listen and act very quickly to such a man. I still would prefer not to be in charge, however, but it is what it is. So, Sky and her team were finally on their way coming down to meet with us, however they will not be here until tomorrow. So, our game continues for now, following all of these clues one by one.

Some of them were quite easy to figure out, some were very difficult, especially since things have changed a bit since these clues were written back in the mid 1800s. That empty room we found still intrigued me though, it just seemed so out of place, yet it had the same stone foundation of the rest of the mansion, so it was not a new addition. But why the secrecy of an empty room?

Jackie claimed she knew nothing about it and the butler was no help either. I am still not sure where he fits in all of this. I sent his picture and name to Annelie, but so far she has not found out anything. That is also odd, considering all that she has managed to find out about people around here. That night, the cats and I were already in bed and Kat was showering, there was suddenly a blinding light again at the foot of the bed.

That has happened before, at the top of the stairs when that fake ghost disappeared. Only this time, he appeared. “Well, well,” he said, “all alone this time I see. You are not a ghost, so I know my gun will be effective against you.” “You will not live long if you kill me,” I said, “plus, you will not get that treasure you want so badly. My team will not continue to look without me.”

“I do not need them, or you, now that you have found those clues for me,” he said, “I can follow clues just as easily as you.” “Except for one important detail,” I said. Right then Kat appeared beside the bed. The shocked look on the face of that fake ghost was priceless. “Where did you come from?” he demanded. “I told you I am a ghost,” said Kat, “I come and go as I please, and your gun is still useless against a dead woman.”

“I do not believe you,” he shouted, “and it will not help him!” He took aim…but nothing happened. He looked at Kat, but she was gone. “Looking for me?” she asked from behind him. He turned and she kicked the gun out of his hand and he ran for the closet. There was another flash of blinding light and he was gone too. “Obviously there is a door in that closet that he uses,” I said, “so we will fix that with our handy little locking device.”

I secured the closet doors and went back to bed. “You really must tell me how you do that,” I said. “Hey, we ghosts need to keep some secrets too,” she said smiling. The cats jumped back onto the bed, they hid under the bed when ghost John showed up. “You two are supposed to protect Steve when I am not here,” she told them.

Meow,meow?=How we stop ghost man? Meowy?=Yep, how we do that? “Those slingshots will work just fine on him,” said Kat, “he is no ghost.” Meow,meow.=Okay, we remember next time. Meowy.=Yep, me too. “Hmm, I just thought of something,” I said…

  1. Glad the people running the “clinic” were arrested and the patient taken to real clinics or hospitals. I am sure there will be a few glitches before Sky and her team get back home. The fake John needs a lesson in trying to haunt people. It could make him a real ghost that is dead!

    • Yes, Sky and her team are not quite safe yet I’m sure. I still think Toledo doesn’t want Tanya around, but why he didn’t just kill her before is hard to understand. There must have been a reason for having her locked up and drugged like she was. If fake John shows up again, we won’t let him get away so easily. He needs a new gun too it seems. The use of a Kat hologram worked very well. It might make fake John believe in ghosts after all.🤔👩😼😼👻🕵️‍♂️

    • John likes to play ghost, so we can do it better by using our Kat hologram which stood by the bed. When it disappeared the real Kat was standing behind ghost John. That made her look more ghost like. But why does his gun not work whenever Kat is around? A ghostly secret says Kat. Hopefully we can learn more once they get Tanya here, provided her mind is still okay.🤔👩😼😼👻🕵️‍♂️
