Kat left and told Bridgette about the mess so she came and cleaned it up. Kat and her bodyguards went back home after that and Nelson called her in to the library. “Kat, I would really like you to consider joining the team officially,” he said. “Tell you what,” said Kat, “once things settle down a bit for Steve, I will talk with him and Sky about it first. Then I will give you my decision.

I will want to talk with the whole team too before saying yes though.” “You do not think anyone would be against you,” said Annelie, “do you?” “Everyone wants you to join officially,” said Rock, “we all want you, we need you and we love you.” That last part surprised everyone, Rock does not mention love except when talking about Annelie.

A week goes by and my recovery is going very well, I am even back home and walking around. Kat has talked with Sky and myself. I told her she would need to go through the tests, but she could skip the physical examination if she wanted. She was relieved about that, she just does not want anyone to possibly access her DNA.

I could understand that part, even though we do have all DNA samples well protected, but, things can happen. “I know you can stop guns from working Kat,” I said, “but what about other weapons?” “Nothing can hurt me Steve,” she said, “knives will just drop from a person’s hands, arrows would just kind of flop and fall to the ground, any kind of laser would just not work, unless it is far enough away, but then it will just be harmlessly grounded.

Even a slingshot would not work, the person just would not be able to use it. I know something like this would be fantastic to have for everyone, but you both understand that cannot work either.” “Yes,” said Sky, “this is just your personal weapon defense.” “I would like you to practice with all of our weapons though,” I reminded Kat, “so that you are comfortable using them in our cases. I know you are good with some, but there are new ones we use now too.”

“Yes, I will do that Steve,” she said, “I really am glad to be back as an official member again.” “I am glad you are too,” said Sky smiling, and she gave Kat a big hug. Then she looked at me and frowned a bit, so I went over and hugged Kat too. “You will just have to get used to having two wives around Steve,” said Sky. We all laughed at that.

Later Kat was out for her practice session, then she spent time playing with the cats. When we heard that Craig had broken out of prison we gave Kat, Sky and myself 4 bodyguards whenever we were outside. I was most concerned about Kat though, since our hacker “friend” spent most of his time checking on information about Kat.

While she was playing with the cats they suddenly stopped. Meowr.=Me hear chop chop again today. “Yes, I hear it too,” said Kat, “that is 3 days in a row now, and in the same direction each time.” Meow,meow.=Yep, it always over there. Meow.=Yep, it go to that spot and stop. It watch us me think. “How come you can all hear that thing, but we cannot,” asked Crystal.

“Concentrate with your ears in that southeast direction,” said Kat. Crystal did so and then she could hear it, just faintly. “That would be too far away to see us,” said Kristina. “They might use a telescope,” said Kat, “then we would be nice and close to them. But don’t keep looking that way or they will know we have spotted them.”

Crystal called in a warning, “Code Yellow 2A”. It was announced throughout our home. “Come inside now,” I told them. So in they came. Meowi.=We not finish with playtime yet. Meowy.=Yep, that true, still have 15 minutes left. “Okay, you can go to your play room for the rest of the time,” I said, and off they went. “Fill me in, who is watching you?” I asked.

“No idea Steve,” said Kat, “but someone in a helicopter has been watching us for 3 days now.” “Yes, they only told me today though,” said Crystal, “but they are far away.” “Yes, but that chopper stays still the whole time we are outside,” said Kat, “have the cats mentioned it when they are with you?” “No, they never have,” I said, “okay cats, back here double fast!”

They came sliding in as normal bumping into each other and giggling. “Has that chopper been around when Sky and I are outside?” I asked them. Meow,meow.=No, not hear it then, only with human ghost Kat. Meowr.=Yep, that right.

“Hmm, that means they are wanting you Kat,” I said, “and it must be Craig. Perhaps he has bought into your ghost story.” “Well, he will have a little trouble ghostnapping me,” she said with a smile. “Perhaps not Kat,” said Sky, “what would be an easy way to ghostnap you?” She thought for a moment…
