For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Good morning on this cool, cloudy Wednesday! I have my heat on all the time now so it is nice and comfortable inside. Not many people out walking around these days. But even in the cool weather it is important to get out for some fresh air and exercise.
Even if it is just a short walk, it is better than sitting inside all the time. There is a man here that takes his cat out for a walk, on a leash. The cat is on the leash, not the man. I can just imagine trying to put something like that on Muffin. My arms would be minus their skin.

Looking across the lake to an island.
But some cats are quite calm and it is easy to put a harness on them with a leash. The one this guy uses for his cat looks like a sweater. Sometimes it is best to start these things when the cat is young. Because of Muffin’s past she is afraid of being “tied up”, or held back in any way.
However, she seems quite content with being an inside cat now. Although she does like being on the balcony, but she does not like looking over the edge. It is a good thing there is that safety netting on there, it would stop her from falling off the balcony. But it does hinder taking pictures which is unfortunate.

Here is that same island.
Oh well. There are always good points and bad points to things. We just need to concentrate on the good points, not the negative points. But that does not mean neglecting the negative. The leaves of the aspens are changing color now, they are usually the last ones to change around here.

A location outside of town.
They are a bit late this year though, probably because of the warm September that we enjoyed this year. I have a few more photos to share with you today. Have a wonderful day everyone and God bless!

Enjoy the beauty of Fall and trust you get in a short walk. We are in full winter mode in the Far North with out 5 inches of snow that will melt in May.

Oh my, you have snow now! Some places in Canada got snow over the last couple of days too but so far it has stayed away from here. I did get a short walk today even though it was cool with a fine mist. Have a great evening!ππΊππβ

Cool and cloudy here every day right now, a low pressure system has stopped over us. The good point of that is it’s pushing a snowstorm away from us and it will hit the southern portion of our province instead. Well, good for us anyway, not so good for them.π€

In the sourthern part of your province, the snow will likely melt!

Yep, too early for their winter to start, they are a long ways south of us. So it will likely melt the same day or the next for sure.

Steve, I always enjoy your photography. Autumn’s cooler nights are calling for my own furnace to quell the morning chill.

Just heard a while ago that this cold air mass over us is going to keep that storm south of us and it will hit the southern part of our province instead. I guess cold air is good for something after all!π

In our complex, there is a cat walker and the cat is gorgeous and huge. This would never work with Callie because she is skittish and very strong. I wonder who would be walking who.
The leaves are turning into gorgeous fall colors and it is raining. A typical autumn day here in North Georgia.
Hugs from Callie and her humans. π½π π βοΈβοΈ

Yes, I don’t know how some people get their cats to enjoy walking like that. Maybe it’s just certain cats that enjoy it.
Sounds nice!
Thank you so much Eugenia!ππΊππ
