Muffin’s Monday Funnies! #1

Hi, hi to everyone out there wherever you are! I back again! You notice new name for Monday funnies? My daily fun not going to be daily this month. But I be here on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with fun funnies to share with you! My human say it because we using funnies too fast and we soon run out, so, we slow down for a while. But it still be fun, honest. So, here we go…

Dearest Lauren,

I’m so sorry for the things I said.  I’ve been unable to sleep since I broke off our relationship last month.  I think about you day and night. Your absence is breaking my heart and recently I’ve begun to realize that nobody can take your place.  Sweetheart, I miss you so much.  Please call me.

A man and his wife were having some problems at home and were giving each other the silent treatment. The next week, the man realized that he would need his wife to wake him at 5:00 AM for an early morning business flight to Chicago. Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (AND LOSE), he wrote on a piece of paper, “Please wake me at 5:00 AM.”

The next morning the man woke up, only to discover it was 9:00 AM and that he had missed his flight. Furious, he was about to go and see why his wife hadn’t awoken him when he noticed a piece of paper by the bed. The paper said, “It’s 5:00 AM. Wake up.”

Interviewer: “So, tell me about yourself.”
Me: “I would rather not. I kinda want this job.”

Little Emily was at her first wedding and gaped at the entire ceremony. When it was over, she asked her mother, “Why did the lady change her mind?”

Her mother asked, “What do you mean?”

“Well, she went down the aisle with one man and came back with another one.”
