Back at the chateau. Honey came into the library with a small box and gave it to Hope. “I know we can’t use Team money for Angel”, she said, “so I am using my money for now. If daddy and mom can’t function properly then daddy said I would be given control of their money and property and make decisions on their behalf. It looks like that might happen since we don’t know how to change them back to normal.

Since it was my decision to allow Angel to stay here, then we will need money for her. This isn’t much, but it will get us started.” Just then Dr. Kerstina drove up and came inside. “What are you doing driving around by yourself?” asked Kristina. “Because it does not matter anymore,” she said and went over to Baldwin’s desk. She then handed him an envelope. “What is this?” he asked.

“My resignation sir,” she responded quietly. He was about to toss it in the garbage, but she asked him to please read it, because it was important. He looked at her, as did everyone else. He read her letter and then called everyone into the library. “I want to apologize to everyone,” he said, “I have been rather rough lately, part of my usual exterior that I use to keep Baldwin Corp. running. But I tend to forget that I need to be a human being too.

Dr. Kerstina has admitted to being the one who first drugged Steve, and then Sky, to make it easier for Angelica to kidnap them. It seems Angelica had killed Kerstina’s father and threatened to also kill her mother if she did not cooperate. That is why she is resigning now. She will also stay around if we want to hand her over to the police. I, for one, do not wish to do that. Any objections?” No one objected and everyone begged her to stay since she was best suited to help Steve, Sky and the others.

Baldwin also said he would pay whatever it costs to help Steve and the others, including Angel. Honey ran over and gave him a big hug. Now it was Tiia’s turn to come screeching into the library. “Not another one,” said Baldwin. Meowi!= Have news from human ghost Kat. Need to get human Steve and others home quick, start working on ants with oats! “That’s antidote,” said Crystal. Meowi.= Me just say that. Human ghost Angel say need human bad person Carolyn too, she only one maybe can help, so need her alive.

Human Steve and Sky only talk bad things now, they want to be bad. Want to kill human Matt. Send most girls back too, Kat and few girls stay to help Knight Riders. Need to keep human Steve and others locked up. “Send a message back telling her to capture Carolyn first,” said Baldwin, “then send everyone back at the same time. Send Jennifer back too, we will need her.” Midnight received the message and told Kat.

She then got hold of Matt and told him. “I was thinking,” he said, “the best way to handle this is to kill Angelica if we can get at her, then capture Carolyn and we can all go back home.” “That is a good thought,” said Kat, “so that means it is time for Plan D.” That meant they needed a way to get at Angelica since she never comes out of that hotel except when she came out to meet the museum people. That gave Aari an idea.

Soon there was a knock at Angelica’s door and one of the hallway guards came in with an envelope for her. “It was dropped off by your friend at the museum,” he said, “seems he was in a hurry to get out of here so there would not be a connection made between him and you.” “That useless coward,” she growled, “and after all the money I paid him.” She read the letter and smiled. “Well, well, maybe he isn’t so useless after all,” she said to Carolyn, “he has gotten hold of enough sleeping gas to put everyone in that building to sleep by putting it into the air conditioning unit.

More guards are coming in 3 hours so he wants this done now. He will have gas masks ready for us to use when we get to that warehouse. If we leave now they will be asleep when we get there and we can just help ourselves.” Both women laughed loudly. Then they got everyone together and went out the back door to the parking lot. The Knight Riders, Kat and half the girls were ready for them. Mac took careful aim and shot. Angelica fell to the ground, dead.

Storm ran out from behind a car and “Thwock!”, Carolyn fell to the ground, unconscious. He just used a rubber ball to knock her out. Some of the guards were killed and some ran off. They went over to make sure that Angelica was dead and she was. “Thwock!” Kat looked at Storm. Meowr.=Just want to make sure she dead. She very bad human person. They took Carolyn with them and off they went. Their jets had gone back to Panama for safe keeping but had just landed at the airport when the teams arrived.

It was a long trip back home but they made it. Mandar had his teams 6 and 7 meet the jets in brand new armored vans from Baldwin’s military company. He had 3 well armed military type helicopters following the vans all the way home. Two of the choppers stayed with the van heading to the clinic where Steve and the others would be kept in the new wing of the clinic where people can be locked up for their safety. Three armed guards would go in the rooms with the doctor or nurse so there would be no problems.

Kerstina had agreed to stay on, at least for a while to see if she could help. One of the buildings on the chateau property had been turned into a type of jail for the team to use if necessary and that is where Carolyn was being kept. She has been refusing to help the team. “For one thing,” she said, “nothing can be done to help them now. After the final session they will just remain that way until they die. The others who did not get a complete group of sessions will likely die of various causes depending on how they were programmed.

Angel is an incurable drunk, she will die that way. Dawn and that ridiculously named Kitty are drug addicts and can’t be cured either. I can’t remember what I did to Beryan, Melanie or Melissa. Steve and Sky are no longer interested in each other and all they want to do is, quite simply, anything that is bad and illegal. As for the cats, well, they are just cats now and that is all they will ever be. So, there you have it gal, I’m really sorry I cannot help you (she said very sarcastically).”

Kat gave her a hard backhanded slap, knocking her right off her chair. “You better start thinking of ways to help us,” said Kat, “or there is no reason to keep you alive.” “You can’t kill me, that would be murder!” she yelled. Storm was with Kat and growled when Carolyn said that. “Perhaps we can’t,” said Kat, “but Storm here is very angry because of what you did to his Muffin. He would be very happy to kill you. And how will they ever prove that a cat did it?” Carolyn tried to appear calm, but inside, she was very scared…
