For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Before Adamson was finished with lunch, Kat and some of her Wildcats came bouncing in to the restaurant with Kat landing on top of Adamson’s table once more. “Well, here we are Mr. Adamson,” she said, “I hear you have been looking for us all morning. But I will give you a warning Mr. Adamson, leave us alone if you want to stay healthy. I am not as patient as my uncles and if you try to kill 2 or 3 of my little friends, then I will have to kill you. Do you understand me?”
Adamson just looked up at her and sneered. “I don’t take orders from little girls,” he growled, “so go away before you get hurt.” He had 3 men sitting at the table with him, and four more at the table beside him. Kat then went into action, kicking the 3 men at Adamson’s table, knocking them off their chairs. She was careful not to kick them too hard, she didn’t want to kill them just yet.
The other Wildcats had some fun with the other four men and very quickly had them on the floor and unconscious. “Now, let’s see how tough you are without your men to protect you,” said Kat. She jumped down from the table and told Adamson to get up. He just sat there smiling at her and picked up his coffee cup. Kat hit the cup which splattered the coffee all over Adamson. The Wildcats laughed at him.
Then Kat nodded and two of her girls picked up Adamson and stood him on his feet. Kat then punched him in his rather fat stomach. He groaned a bit but stood up straight again, so Kat hit him again. He groaned even more and slowly stood up straight. Kat gave him a hard back handed slap and Adamson fell over sideways tumbling over his chair.
The two Wildcats picked him up again while all of the others laughed at him. Kat gave him another back handed slap, the other side this time, and he fell to the floor, which produced another round of laughter from the Wildcats. “I would suggest you stay away from me and my little girlfriends,” said Kat, still in her little girl voice, “and you stay away from my cousin Cynthia or us Wildcats will scratch you to pieces!” Then they left, driving off in their vans.
“Well, at least I know what kind of vehicles they drive,” said Earl, “so it will be easier to find those Wildcats now.” “How do things like that manage to get a license to drive?” grumbled Adamson. “They may not all be like that,” replied Earl. “Yes, you could be right,” he said. “You know,” continued Earl,” those Wildcats are a bunch of beauties, they would be nice to use in your, uh, photo studio.” “Hmm, that would be even better than killing them,” said Adamson, rubbing his chin, “great idea Earl, get me some of them, that will teach that little girl a lesson.”
“Sorry Adamson,” said Kat to herself, “but you will not get any of my Wildcats for your repulsive photo studio and other things you want them for.” “I just thought of something, Mr. Adamson,” said Earl, “that gal mentioned her uncles, but we have only met one uncle so far. I hope there are no more to come around and help protect Cynthia.” “It won’t matter Earl,” said Adamson, “when my boys get here tomorrow, we will have sufficient strength to deal with anyone.”
“I sure hope so,” said Earl, “because they have a lot on their side right now.” “Numbers are not the only thing to win a fight,” Adamson reminded Earl, “brains are necessary as well. These are small time gangs who exist by projecting muscle, but they can’t stand when confronted with intelligence. My thought is that they will all work together because they will perceive us as a common enemy and they have a common goal in protecting Cynthia.
So, we plan a trap for them, to draw the greater portion of them away from that chateau. Then we move in and pick up Cynthia, and any other women that might fit our needs, and off we go before the rest even knows what hit them.” “Huh, I never would have thought of that,” said Alexander, scratching his head. “That is why I own this business and you do not,” said Adamson proudly. “Well, well,” said Kat, “so Adamson thinks he can outsmart us that easily? He will be very disappointed.”
Kat then called Matt and Jennifer to tell them about Adamson’s plan. “A simple, but workable plan,” said Mr. B, “is it my turn to meet with Adamson for breakfast?” “Yes indeed,” said Jennifer, “and Kat will be there with her Wildcats, to give you some added protection. She will need to be close to you for that protection to work though.” “That’s fine with me,” he said. I then got a phone call which I dreaded to answer, but Jennifer put her arm around me and told me to answer it.
I did so and remained silent while the voice on the other end spoke. “No,” I said, “definitely no, Sky and I talked about that and have it in our wills and other instructions, there will be no heart transplant. If it cannot be done with her own heart, then we will pick up her body for burial.” There was more silence from me. “Okay Dr. W., thank you,” I said. I just sat there quietly for a few minutes.
“He is going to try,” I said, “but he doesn’t think it will work, her heart was damaged too much.” “How long is the procedure Steve?” asked Mr. B. “If successful, it will take about 8 months,” I replied, “perhaps longer with Sky. Just a suggestion Jennifer, perhaps Angel should go along with Mr. B. and that would free Kat for other fun things.”
“We could do that,” she said, “we do have enough girls here anyway, or are you having some more thoughts too?” “We need to do what Adamson wants us to do,” I said, “leave the chateau with few guards, so he can come and get Cynthia, just like he wants to do.” Cynthia’s eyes got real big. “But, but, you said…” she began to say.
“And I meant it,” I told her, “you will be perfectly safe, Adamson will never get you again, and that is a promise. Isn’t that right, Leader Jennifer?” “Nice that you remembered to include me at the end,” she said, smiling, “but I do agree totally with Steve, Cynthia. You never need to worry about Adamson again.” Cynthia smiled and relaxed again…

Kat and the Wildcats literally had Adamson and his men for lunch. They didn’t know what hit them. But it will not be enough to keep Adamson from his evil plans.
Smart decision not to have a heart transplant on Sky. Something will probably worked out to bring Sky back with a renovated heart.

Yes, they certainly did a good job. But you’re right, Adamson is too hard to stop easily. He wants something and won’t stop until he gets Cynthia. It makes him look bad to his peers if a young girl like Cynthia can just walk away from him. It hurts his tough guy image. I can’t imagine how hard it would be for Cynthia if Adamson was to get her back again.
Yes, I want Sky back with her own loving heart. I do hope something will happen so the process will work just fine.

Yes, there are certainly challenges in overcoming Adamson.
