For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
After the lights went out, Louis had lit several candles so they could see, then they sat down to relax and figure out what to do next. But right then Sky came walking out of the hallway with a huge lion by her side. “Where did you come from?” demanded Medina. “We used the elevator,” said Sky, “surely you didn’t think I was going to walk up 20 flights of stairs with my little lion. That would be hard on her little paws.”
Louis and Medina both looked at the lion’s massive feet. “You call those paws little?” asked Medina. “Just a figure of speech,” said Sky, “you must be Louis.” “Yeah, what of it?” he asked roughly. “I hear you like to beat your girlfriends,” said Sky, “you even beat Rochelle at least once.” “So what? If they don’t do what I want, I beat them,” he said shrugging his shoulders, “it’s none of your business, oh, I beat Rochelle 3 times and killed her two sisters. I did them a favor really, they were both ugly creatures.”
That was just a little too much for Sky, the arrogance of this man needed to be dealt with, right now! “I would like to see you beat me,” said Sky, “you’re a big man and I’m quite small, come over here and hit me, I dare you!” “If I did that, your overgrown flea circus would eat me for supper,” he said. “Sit still Angel Kitty,” said Sky, “no matter what this man does to me, do not hurt him.” The lion laid down.
“If you’re still scared of me,” said Sky again, “we can go into another room.” “Go ahead and hit her Louis,” said Medina as she pulled out a gun, “if that overgrown lion rug moves, I will shoot it!” Sky moved closer to Louis and he tried to hit her, not just once, but three times, missing each time. “You are really quite slow,” said Sky, “I’m surprised that Medina even wants you around. And did you even deliver our message to her?”
“Yes, he delivered it,” said Medina, “it gave me quite a good laugh.” Then Louis tried again to hit Sky, but his arms would only move in slow motion, however, one of his punches hit Sky and she went flying backward in slow motion, landing on a big chair. “Hey, that was fun,” said Sky, “now it’s my turn.”
She went over to Louis and gave him a light hit to his stomach and he went flying landing against some kind of cabinet, and then fell to the floor groaning. “Kind of soft,” said Sky, “I think you should hire some better bodyguards.” “How would you like that job?” said Medina, “I will pay you 3 times what you get now and you can keep your pet, but he must stay away from me.”
“Ha, you couldn’t afford to pay me,” said Sky, “besides, I already have a job.” Louis stood up, rather wobbly, and looked at Sky with anger. He then took out his gun and tried to shoot her, but his gun wouldn’t work. Then Medina tried to shoot the lion, but her gun wouldn’t work either. “Now you die Louis,” said Sky, and she pointed at him. When she did, electricity left her finger hitting Louis’s heart, killing him instantly.
She now turned to Medina who threw her gun down right away. “Kill me now and it will be murder,” she said. It was raining heavily at the time, and windy, so Sky shot her electricity at the windows causing 4 of them to shatter and the rain was blowing into Medina’s suite. “You idiot!” she yelled, “That will cause a lot of damage to my building!”
“Don’t you have insurance?” asked Angel Kitty, then her and Sky laughed as they went to the elevator, got on and went down to the main floor. “I will get you for this,” she yelled, “I really will get you!!” She then went to the stairs and began her long walk down. While walking she kept thinking about how Sky could have electricity come out of her finger, then her hands when she broke the windows.
And that huge lion, how could it talk? She convinced herself that Sky must be a ventriloquist, it was the only possible answer. Once at the main floor the electricity came back on again which just made her more angry, but she calmed herself down again. She remembered her uncle Toledo’s advice not to let anger rule or she would lose everything. She went back home and into her office that she had there.
Then she called for Dorian and Xavier to join her. “A man from Finland wants to buy all of your detective agencies,” said Dorian, “he figured it’s better to start with something that is already established, then he can compete with The Investigators more easily.” “Did he make an offer?” asked Medina. “Yeah, $100 million,” said Dorian, “I checked the guy out and he definitely has the money.”
“Good, call him and I will talk to him,” said Medina, “I could use a bit of cash at the moment.” Soon she was talking to a man named Tarvo Johannesen and he ended up buying her detective agencies and all of her hotels for $200 million. He would have his lawyers meet her lawyers in two days to finalize everything. Medina was happy as could be since nothing she sold was making money so it was best to sell and get something out of them.
She had lots of money, but most of it was tied up in investments which she didn’t want to touch. Then she discovered that investors were pulling out of her various companies. Then the Wildcats began their attack, going after some of Medina’s warehouses and manufacturing companies. They would go in and tell them they needed more insurance and to buy from them.
If they said no, their warehouses and other facilities were targeted with damage, fires and thefts. It’s an old scam, but quite effective. Medina couldn’t go to the police for help since they were already watching her. They also took her large stock of drugs and intercepted two other shipments that were heading toward her rendezvous point in a warehouse of hers.
When her customers came looking for their purchases, they were quite upset she had nothing for them. But they gave her a second chance and she set up another delivery for the next day, which was also intercepted by the Wildcats. This time her customers killed her delivery team and told her to give their money back, however, she had already spent it, and more, trying to destroy us.
In just 24 hours she lost more than $100 million. But she finally got some good news. Dorian and his men found Rochelle and Colette by themselves, away from the protection of their friends. “Well, well,” said Medina, “what a delightful time we shall have.” She then went over to them and began to slap them both, then kick them. “Sky, help us!” said Colette.
“No one can help you now,” said Medina, “you belong to me and you will die for what you have done to me!” She took out her gun and shot, except nothing happened. Then Kat appeared, along with Sky and Angel Kitty. The huge lion sprang into action killing the 5 men in the room very quickly. Kat then kicked Medina in the stomach, then to her head, killing her.

Medina certainly went into a downward spiral in just a few days. Her assets were destroyed and she was bent on destroying Rochelle and Collette. Louis did not last long. Medina would have done better to go into hiding but she couldn’t stand to do nothing. Her desire for vengance, losing her temper, and underestimating that Sky would come with Kat and Angel were her downfall. Hatred destroyed Medina and her empire.

Yes, she went down very fast! We used Rochelle and Colette as bait to catch Medina finally. They were always safe since Kat was with them. Medina was too proud to hide, she figured she was invincible and didn’t need to hide, that was for cowards not her. Louis seemed to think he could handle anything by himself. With all Medina’s knowledge of our team, she didn’t seem to realize what our “ghosts” could do, or perhaps she just didn’t believe it. In the end it went easy, perhaps too easy. Did we underestimate her?🤔👩🦁😼🕵️♂️

Medina probably has relatives in the shadows waiting to take you out.

That is quite likely.
