  1. This chapter could have been called the secret weapon, Steve the Spook. Helene’s weakness is belief in ghosts. This could be the crack in the relationship between Helene and Wendel. She didn’t take into consideration the weaknesses of Claude and his fellow guard.
The listening device spooks them, the relatives of Jennifer and the threat they present. Helene and Wendel are spooked and want to run. Fear spreads.

    • Hey, not a bad thought! Steve the Spook will be having some fun in the next chapter. Yes, that is definitely Helene’s weakness believing in ghosts. She is obsessed with getting Kitty at any cost. She must figure that with Kitty on her side she would be able to do anything. But that would require Kitty being willing to do what Helene demands.

Helene and Wendel spent their whole time, once Helene returned, yelling at each other and blaming each other for different things. If they can’t agree and work together then their organization will fall apart.

Wendel did more homework than Helene and discovered the relatives of Jennifer. Of course it is basically false information and the police help us with that. The numbers given for the two gangs are much exaggerated, but it sure helps since it appears so real.

Yes, fear spreads and people don’t think clearly when that happens. Then they make mistakes, which is what we want. 🤔👩😾👻🦁🕵️‍♂️
