Hi, hi everyone!😻 I back again with more fun funnies for friends, and that mean you! I a little late this week, me sorry for that, it my fault, kinda. It hot in here these days and I not able to go outside on balcony room anymore. Sniff, sniff. Cats next door come over here and fight me and they win, so now balcony room is their territory. That in the cat rule book. Whoever win fight gets territory.

I not young anymore and can’t fight younger cats and there is 3 of them. Oh well. My human tell me it still my territory cause he chase other cats away, so he win fight. Maybe he right, but I still scared to go out there. It cooler out there and I used to like going out there to have cat nap in afternoon. But, cooler weather has come back now so maybe it cool off in here.

My human go shopping yesterday and nothing funny happen again. At least, that what he tell me. Sometimes me not so sure. I tell him he need to try harder. He did do one thing that I thought was funny though. There big traffic jam in store aisle. 2 ladies block aisle by talking, lots of people backed up in three directions.

My human sort of know man in front of him, he have big booming type voice, just with normal talking. So my human come up with idea and he say to man, “a bit of a traffic jam today”, and man say, “yes, we do have a traffic jam.” Everyone hear his loud voice and 2 women move right away. My human very happy, his idea worked. That part is strange.😹 Oh well, here is funnies for today…

TEN REASONS FARM TRUCKS ARE NEVER STOLEN

10. They have a range of about 20 miles before they overheat, breakdown or run out of gas.

9. Only the owner knows how to operate the door to get in or out.

  2. Good morning Steve! My day is going great! After lunch I’m going to finish replacing outlets and light switches now that the painting is finished in the living room. After that I’m not so sure….🤔

    • Wow, you’re doing a lot of work to that place! We have smoke here again, but not quite as bad as yesterday. I’m dusting and tidying up the living room today. I also cleaned out the second hall closet. I’m amazed at all the stuff I have that I haven’t even used or looked at since moving here 2 years ago. From now on that kind of stuff gets tossed!🙄

    • Yeah, well, that’s your hobby, so you need lots of stuff for that. My hobbies are all finished now so it’s time to clean out a bunch of stuff I don’t use anymore. But now I have plants. hehehe!😂

  4. Well, plants aren’t things… they’re living organizing. But I still have lots of boxes from planes that are empty, I didn’t throw them away because I need them to ship my planes down south when this place gets sold.

    • This one came in before the other one, but the other showed that it should have been first. Strange. Not bad, keeping yourself busy! I will need to plant my leaf cuttings tomorrow, the roots are getting quite long now. I hope to get two plants from these cuttings, it is a very unique plant with wonderful leaves that don’t look real. I will plant two together in each pot. That will give me 3 plants if they all grow. This is a first for me with this type of plant, so I don’t know if it will work or not. We shall see!😃🪴

    • I’m back! Had to get my laundry ready for morning, then make supper, now I’m eating supper and writing the next chapter of my story. There are different ways of starting plants without seeds, leaf cuttings and stem cuttings. Leaf cuttings is a bit harder generally than stem cuttings, but it depends on what type of plant. The leaf cuttings I’m using this time are from a plant I have never grown before, so I don’t know how well it will turn out. But if I get one plant out of the 5 leaves I will be happy. I will be even happier if I get more than one plant! I should write a post about this, what do you think?🤔🪴

    • I think she got a few complaints, so she fixed the problem. She now leaves her door unlocked all the time, so her friends can just come in. No need to knock or yell. Kind of dangerous though if the wrong people should find out she keeps her door open like that. And people will find out eventually. News gets around this building amazingly fast!😨

    • Yep, that’s true. There are some rough people that come in here at times looking to buy drugs, but they don’t usually stay long. Some of the younger people might be more dangerous as they stay to do their drugs in the stairwell and wander the halls too.

    • I was just going to say the same thing about this one! Yep, nice indeed, 80 and no smoke, although it was smoky still early this morning. Very quiet in the building today, very odd indeed.

    • Smoke has returned here and it has a strong smell with it again. One fire has entered a small northern town and has burned one house so far.🔥 Everyone made it out safely though and firefighters were pulled out too. This comment just arrived, so I’m not slow answering. Can’t figure why it’s so slow this evening.🤔

    • Good morning Dusty! How’s things. Warm day here, mostly cloudy and we had some rain earlier this morning so the humidity is terrible right now. Getting kind of warm in the ol’ apartment too. I’m here if you are too.😃

  12. There’s always time for a nap in one’s day… I just don’t mine in the morning after sleeping 10 or 11 hours, then I add a nap and make it 12 hours. What’cha doing today besides sleeping?

    • Hmm, I slept an extra hour to make it 7 1/2 hours. Not bad really. Waste of time though, except I wasn’t doing much anyway. Oh well. Not much on the agenda for today. I’m sorting some photos. That is taking a long time, but there is 110,000 photos to sort, so it will take a while. I just do a little here and there. Gets overwhelming if I do too much all at once. I have to water plants today, maybe go and sit outside for a while. Have to print up the church bulletin too.

  14. Yes, I know! It was fun to watch! You should eat when you’re hungry! Waiting to eat will lead to overeating when you do get to eat. Have fun at church. Talk to you later today. I’m sorry about last night. I fell asleep early. The heat and humidity here has been really bad and it wears me out.

    • Good morning Dusty! Yeah, that humidity is what gets me and wears me out. Even heat is starting to bother me now that I’m older. Sigh. A severe weather system is moving in to our area around 4pm with tornado warnings, large hail and heavy rain coming at us. Sunny and only a few clouds at the moment, but that humidity is building up again!

    • My goodness me, this just arrived and yet it says 2 hours ago. Makes no sense. Sigh. Church was good, though not many people out this morning. Nice days seem to keep people away. No sleepers in our church. Wow, did we get a thunderstorm earlier! No tornado though which is fine. Apparently some funnel clouds were seen though.

    • Too hot for baking in the summer in this place. Yeah, that first storm was almost like night out there it was so dark. And it rained so hard I could hardly see across the street!

  20. Well, not that I can see. Although the forecast is for a lot of smoke for the rest of the week. But today is clear blue skies and lots of sunshine 🌞!

    • We have lots of sunshine, just can’t see it through the smoke!🙄 Took my garbage and recyclables out this morning. Down to the garbage room that is. Now it’s time to plant my cuttings that now have good bunches of roots on them. Hopefully some will survive!😂

    • Highs of 70 today and tomorrow due to the heavy smoke blocking the sun, then it starts to slowly warm up on Thursday. It’s getting more smoky all the time out there. Cough cough hack hack.😷🔥

  24. No, no flying today. I did a little repair work to my 2001 Ford Mustang Convertible this afternoon/evening. Ordered some parts for it and did a little epoxying on the seat adjustment switch.

  25. Yeah, it’s my fun car, although…. my grandkids have had more fun in it than I have so far🙄🤨, but that’s why I’m fixing it up now so I can have it nice when I have fun in it.

    • Oh my, it is so bad here still, my throat is sore, constant coughing, my eyes are sore, even getting a headache from it now. It’s worse outside than inside. Sigh.😷🔥

    I’m working on my convertible again today. Taking out the seats and cleaning them, then remove the carpet so when the new one arrives I can out it in.

    • Har de har de har! Humid here too, but not as bad as before. Is it bright red, bright yellow, neon green? Or maybe bright black? 😃 I removed the carpet in a car I had and found out half the floor was missing. Had to put in a whole new floor. Sigh.🙄😂

    • That’s okay, time for me to leave now though. I think all this smoke is making me tired. My eyes are tired anyway and it’s hard to look at the screen anymore. Sigh. Actually got up to 70 today. Potatoes, pork chops, veggies. Talk again in the morning! 😊zzzzzzzz
