For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
We had found John Meyer, and our old “friend”, Koffman, eating dinner at a restaurant in Milan, so we had decided to join them. I was going to come on hard with Meyer, but went with a lighter approach instead. I walked straight up to Meyer, who had his back up against the wall, so I grabbed him and slammed him hard against that wall. He groaned and landed back onto his chair.
One of his bodyguards stood up to help him, but Dawn and some of the other girls had their guns out, so he sat down again. That’s when I told Koffman to leave before he ended up with the same fate as Meyer, but one of his women bodyguards had given us a note asking for help, so I said yes. Koffman offered her to me for 10,000 euros. “Koffman, I told you that you could go,” I reminded him, “I said nothing about your companions leaving. But this one asked to stay with us, so she will. What would you prefer young lady?”
I could tell she was very nervous and not sure what to do, but she looked at Koffman who ordered her to come with him. “You belong to me, remember?” he asked her, “So, get moving.” “She goes only if she wants to go,” I said, “she is welcome to stay with us.” Jackie went over to her, gave her a hug and smiled. “I, I would like to stay with you sir,” she said nervously. “You owe me 5,000 euros lady,” growled Koffman, “you pay and you can stay.”
“How much is your life worth Koffman?” I asked, “More than 5,000 euros I imagine. I have let you go more than once when I didn’t have to, like right now. I guess that pays off the debt she owes you.” He looked at me with anger, but then he chuckled. “I guess maybe you’re right PI,” he said and he quickly left. “Now Meyer, we have some talking to do,” I said, “so, let’s go outside and talk in private. Your bodyguards are not welcome to come, but I won’t hurt you as long as you cooperate.”
We went out to our limousine to talk. Our girls took the other two women to one of the vans for safety. Once Meyer and I were alone, I pulled up his sleeve to reveal a very revealing tattoo. “Well, well, the big John Meyer works for Ramon,” I said, “we must do something about that. First, you will stop associating with him, second, you will switch over to working with Mauricio.” “You’re crazy, Ramon would have me killed if I did something so idiotic as that!” he exclaimed.
“No more idiotic than killing my daughter,” I said to him. “What? He was only supposed to wound her,” said a surprised Meyer, “I never said to kill her.” “Well, he did kill her,” I said, “and that means I should kill you for attacking me like that. That crosses a line too far and you must pay for that.” “Okay, name your price,” he said. “I just did, partly at least,” I reminded him, “plus 50,000 euros for a decent burial, and another 50,000 for our orphan fund.
Or, keep your organization the way you have it and pay me 20 million euros. And I know you have the money.” “That would finish me to do that,” he said, “okay, I will agree to the first deal.” We then went to his office and he counted out the money for me and I warned him to get the other part done soon or I would be back to crush him. I would really like to do that right now, however, it might be better to let his friends do the work for us.
However, as I came out of the building, along with Dawn and Natasha, we were attacked by Meyer’s men shooting at us. I was smart enough to have the girls carry the briefcases of money and I held their hands, giving them protection. They quickly got in the car before I let go of their hands, then I turned on the attackers. And two of our vans, with men from Mandar, came along and the men jumped out and began firing at Meyer’s men.
I tossed some lightning balls at some men too, then took Dawn and Natasha with me back into the building. Meyer had locked the doors, but that didn’t stop me, Sky had shown me how to use my electrical ability to unlock electric locks, so, in we went. We were soon back in Meyer’s office where he had stayed, thinking he was safe. He grabbed his gun off the desk and began shooting at us until he had no bullets left. He just stood there with his mouth open, not believing we could still be standing.
“Meyer,” I said, “you are incredibly stupid for a man in charge of such a large organization.” “It’s impossible!” he yelled, “You should all be dead!” “Sorry Meyer, but I’m a ghost,” I said, “and you can’t kill me because I’m already dead and I kept these two ladies alive.” “No! Impossible!” he yelled again. Then he went for another gun and I shot some electricity at him, killing him instantly. We then left the building again and drove off.
We had been planning to stay the night, but now it wasn’t necessary, so we just continued all the way back to our chateau. I had recorded our earlier conversation with Meyer, about him agreeing to switch over to Mauricio, in exchange for leaving him alone. I sent that recording back to Sky, telling her what to do with it. We knew where Ramon’s “place of business” was located, so Sky and Angel went there to find the man called Major and give him the recording.
“You ladies are brave coming in here,” said Major, “and you don’t even carry weapons, only this recording that you said we would like to hear. So, let’s sit down and listen, and if it is interesting, I just might let you go.” He and some others listened while Sky and Angel sat with them. They could tell that this Major was not too happy by what he heard.
“When did you get this?” he asked the girls. “About one hour ago,” said Sky, “it took us a while to find you.” “Well, it sounds like you work for Mauricio,” he said, “so why should I let you go?” “If you don’t,” said Sky, “we will kill everyone in this room, and then leave anyway.” The 5 men laughed heartily…

Koffman appears to have many lives. He has been left off fro death by you frequently. John Meyer’s alliance to Ramos was his undoing, along with having his men attack you after agreeing to go with the rival. He got what he deserved.
Ramos is definitely powerful but he has not come up the Investigators so close, previously. His organization will take a hit but they will not be destroyed.

Yes, I always seem to let Koffman go free for some reason, but he has been helpful a couple times as well. Meyer still has family to run his organization, so we may not be free of them just yet. But the worst of the bunch was John Meyer and he can no longer be a problem to anyone.
Ramon is dangerous and a large organization. But, we don’t really want to fight him unless necessary. I’m hoping he and Mauricio will fight it out which would be better, and safer for us. I left Fernandez out of the fight since he did help us. Now it’s time to get Visty out of that prison!🤔👩😼👻🕵️♂️

Yes, John Meyer was someone that needed to be eliminated. Hopefully the two cartels will fight it out.
Getting Visty out of prison will take good planning, coordination, and teamwork.

You’re probably right about getting Visty out of prison, but we’re going to try anyway!🤔🕵️♂️

I’ll bet they were surprised by two ladies threatening to kill them!😂 Now, we’ll see if they take them seriously.

Yes indeed, especially since these women were not armed. But Sky and Angel don’t need guns to kill these well armed men! And in chapter 8 we see that darkness falls as Operation Nightlife begins! Tonight’s chapter we will see it in full swing!🤔👩😼👻🦁🕵️♂️

Pretty much the same! I just finished up the cleaning g of my truck🥵
I didn’t realize how many small places there are to clean in it!

Wow! Must be a big truck if it takes two days to clean it! Bet it sparkles nicely now though. Getting something finished like that is always nice. I rearranged the furniture in my living room and my friend was over to visit yesterday and didn’t even notice the change! That was kinda discouraging. Sigh.🙄

It certainly seemed large while I was doing it!🤪
I am truly sorry i missed you last night. I really haven’t been myself this past week and a half. It’s been a while since I’ve been this out of sorts.
I just need to remember to make a decision and stay with it. The in-between is a problem.

That’s okay, I know it can get troublesome at times with different things that come along. And with family it can be hard. You’re right, make a decision and stay with it, that’s the best way. Others may not always like it, but it’s still the best way, otherwise it can wear you down until you’re ready to collapse.

Yep! The lack of sleep makes it hard to be firm on decisions.
Anyway, im going to go read last night’s chapter. BRB!😁😉
