  1. This is an odd case and Steve had a premonition that something was very wrong. Don’t understand why decorating for Christmas was more important than accompanying Steve to the potential case. According to the rules, he should have not been alone and should have had body guards with him. The cats were good, as was Sherry but there should have been more that wanted to accompany him. This case sounds like a setup for Steve. The house seemed dark, uninviting, and frankly sinister, Week old coffee was served, and the woman had only been there one week. The house was unoccupied for 2 years. Did this woman break into the house and say she was living there? All the photos of the glass Christmas tree was to spark your interest. What was this woman’s name: Why wasn’t anyone checking on the ownership of the small chateau? Were the other team members uninterested due to electronic interference? What happened to Steve, the cats, and Sherry? Why would someone warn you not to have anything to do with Christmas trees and hang up from a disconnected number. All the team seems disconnected and more interested in trivial pursuits such as decorating and eating donuts rather than protecting Steve. Then you are on the way to see Mandar and get kidnapped! No one seemed to be using the set protocol. The team will have to do better, Christmas or not. Some powerful tools are being used against the Investigators and Steve.

    • Yes, this case is starting out rather strange indeed. Why didn’t I order some of the girls to come with me, instead of just taking Sherry and the cats? I could have done that, but didn’t. No one seemed interested in coming or checking on this case. That makes no sense at all. Normally Cristy or one of the other computer girls, is already starting to check things before I tell them to do it. Even after Kat checked us and said something had happened to us, still no one was interested, not even Kat and Jennifer. There is a clue, however, in this chapter that might tell us what is going on.

Does this glass Christmas tree have anything to do with our kidnapping? Why did someone warn us? Nothing about this case makes sense, it’s rather mixed up. I always check the pilots before allowing them on the plane, plus the plane is always checked ahead of time, but not this time. But perhaps we will soon learn some things. πŸ€”πŸ‘©πŸ˜ΎπŸ‘»πŸ•΅οΈβ€β™‚οΈ

      • Everything was black and dark in the small chateau with the unnamed woman who wants you to investigate the missing glass Christmas tree. The mugs were dark, the woman wore a dark dress, you drank coffee that tasted odd and old. Why drink coffee that tasted off and bad? Were you poisoned? Who was using electronics to make the team indifferent? You and Sherry do not remember and were probably drugged.

      • Yes, I think there was likely some kind of drug in that coffee, which would account for the odd taste. That was done to make us forget about our visit, perhaps so we would not try to track down the people involved. I’m sure it was more than just the woman. Someone knows something, but who and what?
